Just got one is not bad for a average DIY my only disappointment was the head it should have been engineer with the option to fit different heads I had to improvise and modify that head by adding some metal to unclog my kitchen drain line also the led light is useless .But for that price you can’t ask to much .
@@OriginalMergatroid I used to have a rigid machine that was not self feeding. I would carry a 1/4” cable with me, and if I needed to snake around a smaller drain, I’d pull my 3/8” or 5/16” cable out, and put the smaller 15’ cable in. Just a thought.
One of our toilets blocks more often, so we just purchase this drain snake kit, We are trying to use the Populo to unclog toilet, but only some part of the snake goes in the toilet hole but not the whole length, the snake keeps coming out of the Popoulo machine but does not go farther into the toilet hole. Please advise on how to proceed. Thank you.
We are very happy to receive your feedback, the construction of toilet is different. It needs a tube to insert the toilet, we are trying to shoot a video about that.
It has a plug in the drum that comes out with an allen wrench. You can use this to drain the water. You can also rinse it off before retracting it back into the drum. The weirdest thing is the manual says to use "butter" on it before storing it. I'll take it that is a translation error since the manual is in Chinglish. I will be using some light oil on it before storing it.
Some clogs are going require something a little more intense. Up to even pulling the toilet at times.A clogged toilet can be caused by deeper issues.I have snaked toilet drains up to 75 feet and some will require you cleaning your main line all the way to the street or the septic. This thing works well for what it's designed to do.
Please check if the battery pack is unplugged before replacing it. Populo drain auger provides a quick cable replacement device. 1. place the front operating handle in the O position. 2. Take out the cable to expose the connector. 3. Unscrew the M4 screw with a screwdriver and remove the unwanted cable. 4. Inset the new cable into the connector, align the screw holes, and tighten the M4 screw again. 5. Push the cable manually to the inside of the drum. If the cable can not be replaced normally, please contact Populo customer service center.
