usually you go under neath the sink to access the trap and other pipes to check there condition. Also depending on the type of plumbing system your dealing with you may want to know if your snake is traveling properly . Don't forget that you may have to remove the pop up rod to prevent the snake from tangling around it. In other words it's always safer to go underneath, esp. if you do a lot of plumbing jobs.
I’m just here to see if this tack life, populous, Bauer, and the green and yellow one that I’ve been seeing like this, are actually the exact same machines. I just ordered the populous. It’s damn near half the price I was just about to spend in harbor freight by the time I bought everything separately. Ehf a bunch-a that.
How did you get it to fit in one of the quadrants formed by the metal "crosshairs" in the tub drain? Mine looks almost identical, but the snake tip is just too wide to work it in, even slowly.
Exactly like the WORX Auger Snake. Who copied who? I like Tacklife but then I have so many batteries of the WORX. SO I guess I will stay with buying WORX
I believe tacklife came first. I got my auger 5 years ago. Tacklife went out of business and three companies sell the exact same auger under different names. Worx, Dominox, and Populo. Of those three populo is the only one really active anymore. You can get replacement batteries and more importantly replacement drain cables from them still. The cable wasn’t a perfect fit but fit my tacklife auger with the unique screw in design.
