guide to enhypen’s lore 

Technically this was going to be the explained video for the Japanese Future Perfect (Pass the Mic) MV, but... well 🤷‍♀ This is not 100% comprehensive but hopefully this lil starterkit for Enhypen's dark moon story is helpful and interesting!

sunoo (or shion) is definitely super important to the lore of enhypen, especially since he was the one to bite jungwon in given taken, possibly being the first one to become a vampire out of all of them

i also can't shake the feeling that sunoo was double casted as both chris and shion. esp in the drunk-dazed modern tl, all of his moments seem like something chris would do, but then again, i don't think the drunk-dazed party or fhashback scenes have happened yet

I have a theory, not a good one but still a theory.. In Drunk-daze, where Sunoo was representing Vargyr and K was representing Dardan. Sunno is seen to spill "blood" into a fountain. My theory is that action is how Vargyr gave Princess Suha her powers. Dardan confronted him to stop him but was still able to do the ritual. And as the blood spills, we saw Sunghoon getting drenched with blood. Maybe that is how he got both vampire and werewolf abilities?

Idk who's responsible for Hybe's storylines, but they need to give this whole multiple dimensions/multiple timelines/time travel thing a rest. I feel like once they introduce this concept, it becomes too confusing and I lose interest. It gets even more confusing when you don't have one source, but at least 3-4 for each universe and they don't exactly match up.

8:08 I still believe sunghoon has the ability to copy others. Like with the given-taken fire on his hand and the tamed-dashed Japanese version fire on his hand again. And then the Dark Moon trailers he was able to catch sooha's powerful throw of the nightball. I think he copied Jay's power. Please discuss this with your friends I really want to know what they (and you) thinks about it 😁

There’s a theory that sooha was manipulating sunoo in the past time timeline witch the members noticed and the sacrificed sunoo so in the present timeline sunoo is taking his revenge as the villain because he remembers them sacrificing him

i think that solon's power is to be able to copy the skills of the others

I have a theory about the blue liquid from Let me in and the VCR. I genuinely think that could be werewolf blood, in the novel it was mentioned that the blood of werewolves enhances the powers of vampires. I have no proof, but I think it would be crazy, especially if they have been drinking it unconsciously.

I just wanna make a quick note about Solon. I don't exactly remember which chapter of the webnovel is but it's surely at the very first few chapters, while Solon was confronting Khan the narration tells that "he didn't mind to use his speed, strenght and all the basic skills he knew but it would probably be a disaster if he needed Jino's abilty to manipulate fire or Heli's abilty to read minds" so it's kinda implied that Solon is able to "copy" his brothers' abilities, maybe they need to be near/close to Solon for him to copy them. Also in one of the official media the official account released during the webtoon hiatus states that Solon's abilty is called "Therianthropy" which is the ability of humans to change into animals thru shapeshifting, so like Solon being able to transform into a wolf.

My theory is Chris is from Billy Poco

My other theory is about Ni-ki and how suspicious he is. In Tamed-Dashed we have the reference that he can travel between dimensions, and in Drunk-Dazed he can teleport. I think that's why he's considered a threat, plus his ability to control shadows. Something that seems curious to me is that Noa and Jakah are always together, maybe Jakah knows something about Noa just as Heli knows something about Shion.

I believe the start of JP future perfect is actually the end. I’m pretty sure the person lying dead in the centre is trenna (22:52) and you can tell this because only she wears the silver body chain over the drifter uniform (you can cross reference with the MV in the scene at 25:00). We then go into a flashback through sunghoon’s eye. This is similar to the start of JP tamed-dashed when we started in the present and then entered a flashback though Sunoo’s eye

What if Sooha is not missing in KR Future Perfect but actually dead? So the boys with the help of jungwon turn back time to save her (10:23)? And then the JP vers is a repeat of events after the time rewind. Except this time they are successful and defeat the master.

Sunghoon in the teasers for the novel and webtoon, at one point in one of them when Sooha walks in the room and they are in the i assume to be the library, we’re the boys are hanging around, Sunghoon again has the flame hand thing. If I’m not mistaken for Jake. I haven’t watched the teasers for a while…… But then again like you said, It could’ve been passed on to Jake. Or it may be his secret.

I just got into enhyphen and i just listened to the song bite me and drink dazed and it seemed so interesting and of course beautiful to watch and i really want to get into the storyline and the boys! Thank you for these i will def be tuning in!

A lot of engenes claimed that Solon’s power ability is can copy the members’ power ability too…the fire was already mentioned, he can copy Jino’s power ability and remember in tamed-dashed mv? He copied Jakah’s speed power ability in order to catched the ball that sooha throwed towards them.

DARK MOON, the webtoon is NOT a lore guide to enhypen. it’s simply a story that is based off of the ideas and themes that enhypen’s music videos have made. So the music videos and plots that we see in the enhypen music videos are very much not 100% connected to the webtoons lore. and i think it’s important to make this distinction between the two because enhypen is currently getting ready for DARK BLOOD which is NOT AT ALL connected to the webtoon. That characters heli, solon, Jakah, Jaan, Shion, Noa and Jino are based off Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME. The lore of Dark Moon is vastly different from the lore of Enhypen's music videos.

Theory 1: In fever music video the shadows were following the boys right? What it Noa(Niki) lost control of his powers? Its very unlikely but still a theory

Funny how I recently found out that Enhypen's MVs are connected or even that they had stories behind 'em. I always just listened to the songs, ignoring everything else 😭

Your theory about Chris actually being Dardan makes a lot of sense! At this point in time we don’t know what Dardan’s vampire powers actually are… what if they are the ability to shape shift?! This would explain the way Chris was seemingly able to age like a normal boy and also look dead and sunken like that and obviously not be affected by the stake since he is a top tier vampire.

I know I'm 10 months late but I think that the seven drifters in the Korean mv of future perfect aren't drifters but are a representation of the seven statues in the Japanese mv so what if the statues are the seven knights we see in flashbacks of music videos like fever and drunk - dazed what if the members in the present time aren't knights who traveled to the future or moved to another dimension but instead the seven knights or from the past and are the members ancestors and princess sooha isn't present sooha but maybe the princess carries the powers down in generation and maybe dardan fights with the knights to get to princess sooha and wins so because this happens the knights have to hide princess sooha so that dardan can't take her powers and they succeed so for hundreds of years dardan looks for her and when he finally finds her the knights descendents aka the enhypen members have are already mat her and this time the members will defeat dardan or the knights are the members and the seven statues in we see in the Japanese mv are the knights seven families the flashbacks are off them being knights slowly came back but in the given or taken music video is how it starts like they have already traveled to the future in the mv that's why the song starts like " wake in day one "

16:41 the match box.. it’s in their new album. And in the pass the mic mv they dances infront of building named vasselsoft. Now the current upcoming album for webtoon, vesselsoft is somehow connected. I find these fascinating. Like did hybe plan their whole career before their debut?

I recently started reading the web-novel. I mean in the web-novel a lot of things are happening ... Unlike the webtoon which is still pretty far behind . The fact that all the medias are interpreting the story in different ways , gives me so much headache (⁠ノ⁠｀⁠Д⁠´⁠)⁠ノ⁠彡⁠┻⁠━⁠┻

About chris being dardan I don't think it's like that, cause in chapter 44 of the webtoon, dardan says "I've come back to you with the appearance of your best friend, why did you choose him again?" so it's not really chris

Okay so if there's a wolfgod .... Shouldn't there be a vampire god / goddess as well !?? And if in the past timeline the boys where given invitation to the bloody birthday party and then became sooha's royal guard... Then How did they became vampire in the first place . Wasn't it the carnival aka the bloody birthday party when they became vampires . I mean you know the scene where sooha poured blood in drank-dazed mv . Wasn't it supposed to be then when they became vampire . In that case isn't it like sooha got power from the wolf god then the boys got there power form her . What the hell is going on . I feel like webtoon is more story specific and cartoon is more character specific ... Because webtoon focuses on storyline whereas cartoon focuses more on characters of 7 brothers than actual story ... Its just my guess

Is sooha considered as Engene too? ( just like gfs and ghosts are MOAs in starseekers mvs) If not, what if the contract to convert knights into vamps was a trap(invitation to carnival/castle), and in later story, all characters start to hate sooha but couldn't because loyalty is part of contract??? And will we be able to see engenes in mvs later?

i saw the dark moon trailer and there is a girl and she is suha and sunghoon is protecting her from other fellow members and then in orange blood concept she burned a house and sunoo is with her and she is harming sunoo and other members are outside and crying so i think she knew that they all are the vampires but she seemed so villian to me at this point but still i dont think she is suha because SUHA IS KIM GARAM and we can see her in drunk dazed mv where she is the princess dropping blood from up and members are down but hybe kicked her now so its so confusing

i am new to enhypen and their lore, ty for explaining it so clearly! one question tho... if there are 2 timelines, do the boys remember the 1st one, where they were guards? were they HUMAN guards, or were they already vampires in that timeline too? And do they remember this 1st timeline? Also does Sooha remember hers as well?
