Planning to go there mid week of August. What is the exact location of the Perisher Valley? I mean, I tried entering it on Google Maps and it shows the entire Perisher Valley. Is there a specific location? We are composed of non skiers and some would like to try :)
Here is the Google map pin of the location: goo.gl/maps/sVDVCzAB2bvKrQXq8 . When you drive there along the Kosciuszko Rd, pass the Smiggin Holes only a few minutes, then you can't miss the big car park on the right. The toboggan play area is right next to it.
For non skiers who want to try, I would suggest try at Smiggin Holes as it has bigger flat area and less crowded. You can definitely try at Perisher Valley, but it's pretty busy during peak season.
Lift tickets include Gondola tickets, you don't have to buy separately. If you only want to take Gondola for sightseeing, it's $65 for adults (18 - 64 year old), $16 for kids (3-17 years old), 2 & under free, $55 for 65+.
