1. find a place, if it’s at a hall 5 months in advance!!! 2. find a theme! pinterest has good ideas. 3. look at pinterest/google for cake and food ideas. 4. decide who are you going to invite and how you are going to invite. send invitations 3 weeks before. and rsvp. count up to see how many seats, space, and food. 5. tell everyone your attire. 6.find what you’re going to wear! look for a dress look for a dress a couple months ahead. 7. look for food that you’re going to want. TIP: start early!!!

Can't wait for my sweet sixteen in October!! There's no theme but its going to be light pink with cocktail attire at a Sunday brunch a hotel. Nothing too expensive. Then I don't have to find and order food, which is easier. It's always nice to have this light drink time before (non alcoholic of course) just to get people together and talk. My cake is going to be like a simple chanel perfume, hat box kinda thing. This is just for tips as well. What do you think??

I never had a big sweet 16 party. I did celebrate with my grandparents and of course my mother. The next day with my father, sister, and again with my mother. I went to the movies with my sister the day after my birthday. This was the 80’s and it wasn’t a big deal back then. I always liked to go to a movie on my birthday. Not last year because of the COVID-19.

I’m 15 and turning 16 soon. I have never had a birthday party before and I know I’m not getting one. My mom would never do anything special like this for me. My birthdays are like any other day. I’m hoping my mom does something for my birthday because I really don’t get anything.I wish I could plan a birthday party but I homeschool and have no friends. Even if I had friends my mom would never let me have a party. This video is almost making me cry because I know I will never get something special like this. Dee Brown Cool !! I suggest getting a dj (everyone loves music), you could get a photo booth, you could do question game where you ask them a bunch of questions about you and they have to guess the answer 👍

As many as you want really. I invited my really close friends and family ( about 45 people) because if in my case if i were to invite my whole family it would end up being the size of a wedding lol !!

You can celebrate it this year. Most people probably don't do things for their 16th birthday, instead of celebrating 16th birthdays, most people might prefer to wait until their 18th birthday to celebrate their birthday.

I turn 16 this month and I chose to have a picnic in a nature park and afterwards we’d go get ice cream and bubble waffles.
