"Boring" lives are so FULL! They are full of the things that matter. I feel like I need to say thank you. I just got engaged and I've been thinking a lot about how we want to build our life and I came across your channel and was so inspired. I'm not a mom yet. But when I am I definitely want to keep our lives simple and from the mainstream perspective it looks impossible to keep life simple after having children. You give me hope! And Inspire me! I have binge watched all of your videos! I’m slowly decluttering my life of all distractions. I’ve gotten off of all social media with the exception of coming on here every Wednesday to watch your videos. I’m decluttering my house to have less to keep up with. “Slow living is less about doing and more about being” sooo good! We have the power to decide what we put our time into and that is the ticket to finding out what slow living can look like for various families. Also would love your sourdough recipe- I’ve been experimenting to find my perfect one but have yet to find it haha

Loved this Maddy! I can’t wait to see that video on how you have simplified your phone. I always plan that when my “smart” phone dies I’m going to downgrade. My phone is definitely my biggest distraction and I never thought I would say that. Removing the apps has definitely helped but then the convenience of having them there brings them back slowly. Truly a journey. Love what you said about connecting to your local community. That has definitely been something that has impacted me this last year. ❤️

I love the concept of slow living.... My husband and Myself lived a year without a tv, with barely nothing and we still managed to enjoy life.... but now we are back in the hamster wheel and its so hard to slow live while working fulltime, any suggestions?

How is it having a Dutch oven? I started baking bread this year and I just use baking pans, but think Dutch Ovens seem pretty neat. Do they do the job really well? I don't know how to use one though. Slow living is the best. It is weird because even though I live so simply, I feel there is always something to do! This is a beautiful video!

Hey! Farmhouse on boone taught me everything I know! The recipe is “no knead sourdough” and it’s so good! If you’re new to bread making maybe start with something easy like a bread machine!
