Thank you for this video, we spotted 3 of these at our feeder today, never seen before. We live in central Oregon. My 1987 birding book has him only in Asia. Time for a new book!
What a great start to a series I look forward to following. Excellent, clear and concise. Thanks for educating me, Maurice. It's great to learn new birds, even if I might never see one in person.
Perfect. So pleased you are making this series. I know only basics about bird identification but I do see some with this colouring often in my garden. I shall have to pay closer attention to discover whether they are bramblings or chaffinches!
Beautiful captures, we've seen them in our garden on the odd occasion feeding with the chaffinches, they're very striking birds as your footage shows. :-)
A very special video for me, only now that I know the brambling bird.Your information of the brambling is great too. In case you are not familiar with my username, it is a Chinese female name. I am a female of Chinese decent but born in Singapore. Currently living in UK thus I am rather interested in British birds, particularly the garden birds. Robin is my favourite bird. Thank you for sharing your beautiful video, Maurice.
