Technically you can. The Void Elves also come with Quel'dorei customisations. You won't be called Quel'dorei/High Elf, but you can pretty much look like one. I play on a RP server where the majority of players have RP addons, one in particular that lets them change their race in their RP profiles. And Blood Elves also have blue eyes customisation so in that sense both factions have access to at least looking like a Quel'dorei.

yeah that was my issue with turtle wow/private servers in general. That terribly old vanilla client.

Having no idea when 2.0 will launch in 2025 I would say try it out now. Seems to be a slight resurgence in the player base to give you more people to play with. Just my 2 copper. ;-)

No, they are staying in Vanilla and not going beyond the Dark Portal. (Last I heard at least).

@dirttrack1123 according to the login screen 2300+ on the pve server and 179 on the pvp.

it peaks over 4.5k though have two level 60's on the pve server

I don't know if this makes sense but to me it felt as if it was missing the "High Elf" vibe.

@@GamingPast30 That, and the WoW Vanilla vibe too... But actually for me that whole race is out of place... honestly, I would have preferred either no other races or something that was already in Vanilla wow (there are no High Elves in Classic wow) For example Centaur could have been a cool race :) No riding skill required, or Worgen, or those Bear type creatures that you grind for rep in Winterspring, or for Horde something undead from Stratholme i dunno... it s a bit of pity honestly, High Elves...Goblins OK.

@@MDMvision np np, so there is 2 camps, one in eastern plagueland, one in hinterlands. Those are high elves that alliance players can't interact with. They are there for horde quests. Then there are some npcs spread across both continent but usually in hidden places. One in winter spring in the demon area. One in badlands near a dragon skeleton. They are more but that's just from the top of my head

That is a great question! I tried SOD but honestly the "new" abilities and other gimmicks were not it for me. If Blizzard did actually do Classic+ then I might go look at it.

@@balobaev Literaly everything starting by the names, i men cmon ALAH'Talas... so i guess i can just make a new fictional troll zone, what about Zul'Juluh? Not to mention the incredible hard to come by name of "Anasterian Park" but wait till you see Anasterian All-You-Can-Eat Buffet!... Then Brinthilien? Of course cuz theres a similar word in wow "Quinthilien" so we just make similarly sounding names.. man is just overall a big lack of imagination, but that is honestly to be expected, this is just a zone some random guy pulled out of his ass, which is the real problem for me... this is now World of Warcraft but Fanfiction WoW. Its cool when they want to "modernize" the look of existant places, i mean, it be cool to see for example a massive Gadgetzan as is suppoused to actualy look today in the lore, but this people are actualy creating new fake lore and new fake zones, i dunno i just find that not appealing, specialy when it goes againt actual stablished lore.
