Guide To Throwing A Wedding Using My Wedding Stories | The Sims 4 

One detail i wouldve liked in this pack is a wedding portrait once your sims are married. The same way Sims get after graduating, i wouldve liked this feature for a married sim couple, something that is placed in their inventory amd we can hang it up in their bedroom or smth. Would be so cute. Or the ability to take our own screenshots of our sims wedding and frame it around the their house. Would be such a cool feature.

I know this pack was a hot mess when it came out, but I don’t regret buying it because almost everything is fixed and I now love this pack, every pack has glitches and this isn’t any different, but I hear others say gurus never fixed it, but they did, maybe others still have issues, or stopped playing, but I have used it multiple times and really enjoyed how beautiful and detailed it really is, great video like always. 😊👍🏼💙

I usually only do three or four activities out of all of them. I do love the cakes as they have some that are themed for various occults such as the beachy one (mermaids), a Sixam one (aliens) and one with a plasma drip (vampires). Also if you have Seasons and high enough skill in flower arranging, you can make bouquets yourself. I've done this and it was really cool. I had the groom gift it to his bride before the wedding.

Actually, at first I thought the bouquet throwing part is buggy too. Then, I came across a forum that mentioned that after you click on "start bouquet throw", you will have to click on a Sim that you want to throw it and it really works!

What really excited me in this pack is a Chinese and an Indian theme wedding. Oh BOY! As as Asian I'm loving it!

Has anyone heard of a mod that removes the pre-wedding dialogue options (Ask to be flowerpal etc.) from conversations after the wedding is finished? I can't believe I'm going to have to click past those every single time I need to choose a friendly interaction, for the rest of all my married sims' lives. This needs to be fixed! 😪

It's nice to know this pack is mostly fixed now. Still probably won't buy it unless it goes on super sale

I’m hopefully getting this pack at Christmas. I really loved the trailer but EA releasing it in the state it was, real shame. I wish they would of made it playable after the creators got early access. Love each video

Glad to hear that a lot of the issues are fixed. I just have to be patient and wait for it to go on sale because I really love the wedding cakes and the tea would be perfect for my butlers and English sims.

I'm very happy that My Wedding Stories is mostly fixed. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones, but I didn't run into too many glitches. Just the spousal kiss glitch. I was disappointed when they didn't change into formal or at least party outfits in the vow renewals I host, and with one wedding, the guests just wouldn't sit down long enough for the ceremony(maybe they were just anxious to party). I took it on the chin though. After the first update I had a wedding that went almost perfectly. The only thing that was still an issue was the bouquet toss. With the new updates and fixes, I think I'll be able to do the weddings even better now! ❤️💖❤️ So, I'm not like those pessimistic and cynical people who believes that this pack should have never existed. I still think this pack is great and worthwhile as long as you have the patience. But at the same time, I think EA should continue to add more to it as time goes on(they also might want to apologize for the inconveniences, even if people won't accept it). ❤

I wish they let you pick the outfit of the officiant at least, that way you could make them wear a religious outfit or even an Elvis costume depending on what you want.

To successfully throw the bouquet you have to select the Sim who catches it.

Thanks for your explanation on wedding stuff. While I was trying to figure it out what to do and how it works, all the guests did whatever they like. And that was one of a hellish party. When I've finally sent my groom and bride to the altar, the groom was soooo hillarious, that he died of laughter in front of the altar. Yep...Nice wedding that was. Fortunately I've saved a game some time before the wedding ceremony, so I can replay it using your guide. Thanks again.

I like this pack, tartosa world is beautiful, there’s a lot of events leading to the wedding and more planning I’m not complaining

I have a couple that I want to get married, but I've been nervous about getting it started because I tried it before I bought the wedding pack and it was a disaster and I ended the event and nobody got married. So I'll probably watch your video about 10 more times just to make sure I have everything correct lol.

Disappointing that several things are still not fixed. Bouquet toss, cake going off, sims showing up in the wrong clothes. It's so frustrating that EA still hasn't made good on their promise to fix it

Thanks! This helped a bit. I'm still working through a couple issues like not having a customize/details option when I go to the calendar, adding a wedding event greyed out, etc XD Definitely still fun though, thriving in the chaos.

This video was super helpful, and others of yours that I have seen were too! Sadly, I just tried to do this for the first time... I know people are saying it was broken but since fixed...but my experience was awful. Nothing worked right. Maybe the default wedding venue isn't good for it, IDK.

Seemed like the general complaint from other people was how much you have to do, but personally.. I love micromanaging. and being able to set the date later and make friends along the way sounds.. great actually? i can use it for story building. thank you. also. the asian added stuff. the serving tea really sells it for me tbh. I LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. TEA. making tea for my family is also my love language sometimes so thx for the non-overly negative viewpoint.

I had a problem, when I went to the event, it didn’t start the event… I don’t know if I didn’t have to select the sims to travel with me or what else did wrong?… Because it behave like I was out with buch of sims and that’s all, I didn’t have any of those options, even when I planned the event like you did 😢

I really wish there was a rehearsal feature for the actual wedding day, so you can select what happens back to back before the wedding day. I love this pack, but it still feels like an organised chaos.

To be really honest this should have been in one of the expansion packs like parenthood or something but then again these games will do alot of things separately to gain as much money as possible.

The options for the bride and groom are grayed out. Why?

My sims got engaged but we didn’t plan the wedding right away. So later when they planned none of this was possible. When they chose the ‘who’ it only showed up that sim planning therefore you couldn’t go further because it required 5:48 two people. So now they can’t plan a wedding. So what do we do now. I guess we just have break up and then get engaged again??? Help!!!

While this pack is mostly cute, i find the clumsy spousal kiss interaction where they accidentally bump each others head to be really annoying. It keeps happening every time its selected and its really irritating. Like,, i just want them to kiss properly lol.
