Impressive rod wrapper! I'm trying to understand the reason for double wraps earlier in the video. At about 7:45 you laid the pull thread under the final few wraps creating a single wrap finish, as most rodmakers probably do. Multiple coats of varnish should secure the wraps sufficiently to obtain strength and a smooth wrap.
Can you tell me who makes this wrapping machine I like to get one to learn how to wrap my own rods your help as an expert will be greatly appreciated as a rookery I like to learn the art of making my own rod Thank YOU
Hi, I found your guide wrapping machine really efficient. I would like to duplicate (make my own) or find out if I can buy one. At the very least could you email the dimensions of the machine so that I could make one for myself? It certainly makes sense to have the tread moving and the pole stationary. Herb
