I think it has to be the current lineup from here on out, and hope it will be. the main point being they can do everything. classic lineup is simply unable to play a lot of the stuff people are gonna want to hear. Chops do matter. And Gillard,March,Shue, and Bare Jr are pros and absolutely tight AF. They look much better as a unit too. It certainly doesn’t hurt either that they’re churning out lots of great new music all the time.

People always mention Bob's drinking and songwriting, but his vocals are top notch. His voice really makes these songs.

@warshipsatin8764 true. Related to this, I bought the Electrifying Conclusion dvd solely because it included a live version of Huffman Prairie Flying Field. You can't find any other live performances of that song. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed with the vocals...it was over 40 songs into the show by that point.
