Their last 3 records have all been fantastic bangers. It's crazy he's getting into a hitmaking zone again like the old days. And the band is flawless, and add SO much weight to the new tunes.

Ha, you're right about that, the late,late,late era peak as well as the latest hits.Some of his strongest "hits" yet. "Alex Bell", "My Limited Engagement", High In the Rain", "Volcano","Trust Them Now", "Never Mind the List, the list goes on...

The response to new GBV albums is always wildly subjective. That said, this album is one of the four major peaks of the current lineup's output, the other three being 'Zeppelin Over China', 'Mirrored Aztec', and 'It's Not Them, It Couldn't Be Them, It Is Them'. Like I says, WILDLY subjective.
