Amazing to watch a guided missile cruiser in action, especially in such high definition. The Port of Rotterdam provides a beautiful backdrop for this majestic vessel. Kudos to the videographer for capturing this event so beautifully!

Yes, some press puke thought that the NORMANDY could have fired a STANDARD SM-2 from the VA Capes to Long Island. Jeez, what an imagination….but that is the Press.

Break out the gray paint, US Navy, and do some touch-up while in port! Let's look smart and proud when we visit our NATO partners!! Too much rust on the hull; looks sloppy. This ship has 5 "E" awards for Excellence on display!!

She's showing her age. As she heads out of port she looks proud and hardworking. Topside she looks good. No serious mariner will fault the ship or its Captain for splotchy rust on the outer hull.
