Guiding Light 

My absolute favorite. This is when soap operas were well written and good.

Guiding Light is so remembered by its audience. I still miss it. It's great to see these people again.

I always secretly thought the true soulmates of the show were Rick and Phillip. No matter what happened they never gave up on each other!!!!! Talk about an awesome couple!!!!! I loved Beth/ Phillip/Mindy/Rick story through the years. However, the only true happiness was always with Rick and Phillip!!!!! SERIOUSLY

I missed this as a live stream but I am enjoying it now feeling transported back into those wonderful Guiding Light days. These folks were in my home every day and I wish them all the happiness in the world because they brought me so much enjoyment for so long. Michael, Beth, Grant and I are all about the same age so I really feel like we grew up together. So wonderful you have these interviews, thanks!!

I loved the Guiding Light. Hated to see it go. Loved the Bauers, The Lewises, and the Spauldings. The Coopers were OK as well. Thanks for these chat rooms.

I got hooked on GL back in 1981, when I would come home from school and my sister would be watching it. I tell you, it is addicting. All the crazy story lines, the drama, the action, the hook ups, the break-ups, the lies, the deaths, the resurrection, the love stories etc. Oh how I miss my GUIDING LIGHT. I was a true fan for 28 years. Watching those old footage on RU-vid made my day. It brought back so many memories, I enjoyed it very much. My Guiding Light favorite Character was Reva Shayne Lewis, played by the fabulous Kim Zimmer. Also, Nola Reardon was a hoot. Love stories like Kelly&Morgan and Beth&Phillip was enticing. Also Jonathan Randal, Reva's youngest son played by Tom Pelphrey- boy he did such a great convincing job portraying that character,

Michael wasn’t the first Rick? I only remember him as Rick. He was great. I loved all of these actors. I miss Guiding Light to this day.

Wow, just found this! Guess I have more to watch :) On a personal note about this show... I've always wanted to tell the actors how much it meant to me. It was mainly my mom and I when I was growing up and we were poor and there were a lot of very hard times mentally and emotionally, but Guiding Light was the one constant that was always with us. It, along with ATWT were my mom's faves and she passed away at age 51 in 2005 from cancer. When Guiding Light (my favorite) ended I felt like yet another piece of her was gone away. My favorite characters were like extended family for me from when I was that little latchkey kid to adulthood. I had wanted to watch the show consecutively from the 80's in the last few years and finally began finding a few sources that had uploaded episodes here on youtube. What a source of comfort and nostalgia, knowing my mom had watched these same ones, and seeing storylines I remembered as a kid! So I want to thank the cast for unknowingly always being there for her and me, then and now, through the wonder of the internet

I listened to the guiding light when it was on radio...until it was off tv....this was the highlight of the year. I worked at one of the well k own grocery stores at Mt Zion Illinois. When I got to work one afternoon my coworker came running and said Margie u just missed him ...I said who...she said Josh Lewis off the guiding light....I go oh my GOD where is he....he had just left. He was at the little theater at Sullivan ,Illinois ...that's when the actors came and acted. She said dark shadows. I met Johnathan frid .at the back door of the little theater.. one year. I loved the guiding light u guys...you are all wonderful

I miss all these folks. Thankfully because of RU-vid I can watch old episodes and now these interviews until I’m 90. What a wonderful gift. Thanks everyone for bringing so much joy to me and my family as I was growing up. ❤

I want to see Krista Tesreau on a live stream! I loved her!!! I remember when I was like 13 I wrote her when she was on Guiding Light. (Back in the days of mailing actual letters) and she sent me an autographed picture. What a lovely lady!!

I am Italian and I am glad Grant and Michael rembered their trip to Italy for the Telegatto show in 1988. Italy has always loved Sentieri/Guiding light💟💟💟

I was told by a friend about this video, and I so enjoyed this!! I was roughly the same age as Phillip, Beth, Rick, and Mindy, and I feel like we grew up together. There was nothing like the Phillip/Beth love story back in the day. So wonderful to see these people again. And Grant is so right about Tom Pelphrey in Ozark- absolutely incredible performance. Thanks for a fun watch; I'll definitely be watching more of your reunions!!

Guiding Light must have been really unique among the various daytime dramas on television. The cast members appearing in these reunion videos just can't say enough good things about how great the working environment was and what a strong, fun family atmosphere existed on the show. They all seem to love each other to this day and keep in contact as if they actually were family!

Listen this is Frank Beaty (Brent / Marian, '95-'96). The more I come across these episodes, the more amazing it is for me to see. It's like seeing old friends, lost for 25 years, and for this reason and others, like the quality of this series, it's quite a moving experience, is all. TINA SLOAN...!! I don't know if you will remember me, but I remember you as the sweetest, realest, just the nicest to me ever and I never even had a scene with you. And by the way, HOW have you people managed to look even the SAME or even BETTER after 25 full years? I don't get it, but I'm loving it. Hey also btw GRANT: If you could have heard how MICHAEL O'LEARY talked about you the entire year I was there, you'd understand that sometimes I just said (to myself) ... well if you love it so much Michael why don't you put a ring on it? Haha, I'm kidding of course but he called you his best friend every time your name came up, and waxed dang near tearful sometimes, telling how you guys met, became friends, and how he wished you were still on the show...and then you came back. I remember being happy for HIM when I heard that news. Love that guy. Hi Michael, and again hope to be able to tell you this in person sometime man. Otherwise of course O'LEARY was the most outrageously and most theatrical Vessel of Gut-clutching Hilarity on that set. Like every time. These people are awesome and along with their many many cast mates over more years than I can count, have meant so much to me. I grew up with them as my dearest Aunt Alda Cruttenden and my dearest Great Grandmother Winifred Minard would always have that great CBS lineup in the 1970’s and 1980’s and these were the people that became almost a second family to me. I am very thankful to them and to you for this reunion!

I watched Guiding Light since I was seven years old in 1981.

I was unable to see these reunions when they were live. Nice to see these actors again. Would love to see Judi Evans and Vincent Irazzy. Also my favorite Lisa Brown These were more than characters to me but a part of my family. Everybody looks so good. I get a kick out of how bad a doctor Rick Bauer was.

I'm watching all your shows, with Guilding light my Fav.. and As the world turns.. my other Fav. Miss these shows..and great to see the Actors.. my Childhood gone.. Watch these, with my Mom and Sister, (1980's) etc..and also watching the old episodes..❤❤❤💜💜 now!!

This was my all time favorite show. My mother watched it every day for as long as I can ever remember. I was heartbroken when it ended. Is there a way to watch these old episodes on video? Each and every one of the actors and actresses were superb. I miss you all. I wish you all healthiness and happiness.

Thank you SO MUCH for doing this! I am a fan of Guiding Light starting when the story line of Philip, Rick, Lujack, Beth, Mindy, Harley started. I cried the last day it aired. I hadn’t heard it would be going off the air, and I was about 15 min into the final episode and realized this was the end. I grabbed a VHS tape and crammed it into my VCR so I could record the final episode. Oh my word I miss the characters from that show. You were all such excellent actors, being able to rehearse and film and pump out an episode almost daily. The whole cast had a chemistry about them. When I see you guys on other shows or on tv or hear about what you all are doing now. Thank you so much everyone. And know that you touched lives and are dearly missed. I’ve always been on the lookout for a book or commemorative something or other that CBS would maybe put out in honour of Guiding Light after it suddenly ended. But I never saw anything. Not even a re-airing of the final episode. It broke my heart. You all deserved to be honoured for what you did, for so many years. Love from a fan in Ottawa, Canada ❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦

I got to meet Michael O'Leary when he came to Sears in the mid 90s Pittsburgh West Mifflin century III. Mall. I got to meet Rick Hearst in 1993 at Hornes in Pittsburgh century III. mall. I was excited when I got to see Michael Zaslow in My Fair Lady and Justin Deas in Guys and Dolls. Pittsburgh luvs you.
