So wild, to see Holly & Maureen having a heart to heart, about men! Sucks that Maureen was right. Holly must have regretted saying she was crazy, to suspect anything.
Don't you notice that this kind of parallels what Dr. Bob Hughes did with Dr. Susan Stewart on As The World Turns. He has an affair, confesses to Kim, and she has a hard time forgiving him but when she's in a "Coma" her Sister Jennifer comes back to remind her that she wasn't a saint herself when she slept with Bob when she was married to him.
@@74Spirit1 'til Ed found out that Christina was Roger's biological daughter. He wasn't really in love with Holly then (though, decades later, the writers changed this retroactively), married her after Holly got him drunk (not realizing that he was an alcoholic) and, they had a quickie ceremony, and then she lied to him next morning, when he came to, that they'd consummated the marriage the night before (they had not, he'd been WAY too drunk to have done so), and so he vowed to give the marriage a try. It wasn't 'til a few years later, when. by which time Ed was married to Rita (who also cheated on him) that he began to wonder if he'd been too quick to walk away from his marriage to Holly, but it wasn't too long after that that Holly took Christina and moved to Switzerland (I think?... or somewhere else in Europe), and so he missed his chance with her.
