My core build is just full valk scholar with cs hidden killer. Its quite gimmicky cuz although u have 2 seconds of 100% crit chance after stealth, the moment those 2 seconds are up, your crit chance usually goes down to 5%, or at best due to the traits in CS (Twin Fangs and Keen Observer) and fury, you will be at 42%. This dictates that you play like a dick, constantly going in and out of stealth, which means that you cannot really apply sustained damage to your oppenent, which sucks against anything running celesital shit. However, I do love it against multiple theives as it allows me to punish them more for their mistakes. You could remove scholar and use daredevil for a drop in damage but increase in crit. For sustained damage, the bound build is just a mara/zerk scholar mix with CS, but it has little sustain compared to other thief builds. The SA DP dash meta build from my experience limits your backstabs to usually below 7k and I typically get bored when using it due to its inability to eliminate thieves in a timely manner. That said, SA DP dash probably has the best sustain and also has a solid amount of sustained damage (I run full mara scholar for SA DP dash). If you want to have a good mix of sustain and high burst damage, Deadeye is your best bet but you are limited in your ability to deal with thieves and to setup a big burst it requires some intial setup to reach max malice. Old deadeye used to be stupid af with binding shadows being able to be used in stealth with no animation, which allowed Deadeyes to still be able to beat good theives but now deadeyes have a significant disadvantage vs core and daredevil. Also its a pretty bitchy playstyle. I went off on a tangent but I hope this helps.
