Hey friendo. first of all, thanks for the vids. i loved full melee ranger roaming since vanilla, so it warms my heart so see another person still going for that :) got a question though. i feel like ever since the maces dropped they feel somewhat mandatory. do you think a GS/Ham build or something similar can still me made viable somehow? mace kinda have everything, so it seems hard to not pick them up in a melee power build. but i really dont feel them (or warhorn for that matter^^)
@@rhabarberpete Cheers! Appreciate the support. You can do without maces and swap them for GS or sw/wh. You change your play style a bit cause the benefit of maces is you can brawl way better and pressure downs. I had good success with hammer sw/wh somewhat recently. With SW or GS you need to play more in and out but it works decently. With spear coming out (while technically not melee) GS or sw wh will be the best pairing imo which will be a nice change.

Im currently running GS Ham. it feels like i need more condi cleans though (i lose out on mace 4). so i'm still figuring out what to use wildernessknowledge+crithealRelic or carnivore+condicleanseRelic What i learned about this untamed ranger in general. ppl in groups really underestimate you. they don't respect the bonk^^
@@rhabarberpete I think the crit healing relic is worth more than cleanse. You could take the untamed trait that's 2 cleanses every 10 sec (and lost haste/stab on cc). With GS/Ham id maybe consider if I was having cleanse issues. Though taking the WS cleanse traits is probably just a more standard way to address it too. People don't realize the burst you have for sure, really under estimated. Which is nice haha.
