Rigondeaux has great counter shots to the body, best bodyshot counter puncher in the game and in my opinion the best fighter in the world for the next 5 years.

I do know there are people who here commenting trying to do funny but this is our best fighter from Amateurs. Please, try to be serious, this is not a joke. This man has it all. He doesn't need to fight so much to be the best AMATEUR and PRO in the world. This is the best fighter in the world. Think first before commenting bullshit.
This dude is the next mayweather. just cause he's a southpaw, people compare him to manny. he's patient like floyd and has what appears to be great defense.
He moves very much like floyd mayweather - not a KO artist by any means - but poised, intelligent, polished, and fast. I have no doubt he'll be a future world champion.
Is anyone else excited to see this guy back in action? He'll be fighting Ricardo Cordoba on the Pacquiao/Margarito undercard. This should be a great fight while it lasts. Rigondeaux by KO. Hopefully he fights a few more and then faces either Juanma Lopez or Gamboa.
??? Let's be serious how shall we. Out of Broner's last 6 fights, 5 of them were stopped after beating the opponent to a certain point. Rigondeaux has knocked out many of his opponents with a body shot. These are both clearly indications of skill.
Thats true. But regardless the jab doesnt go out the window just because your a counterpuncher. Jab sets up all combinations. He still has to be more aggresive

No boxer is just going to knock out every fighter. Even Tyson had fights that were not knockouts. If you think the fight was boring then okay. But if you constantly knock people out, you cant be classified as a runner. You have to fight to knock out people.

Man...I was truly disappointed by his performance against Cordoba. Perhaps one of the most boring I've seen lately. This was not the Chacal I was hoping to see. Hopefully he can work more on his offense. He did look good in some moments but after getting KD he was just running the whole time. I don't think he gained some fans after that performance in front of thousands of people in Dallas Stadium. Still looking forward to see what's next for him.

Teddy Atlas knows his boxing man-that is proven. BTW-didya ever hear about the time that a young Mike Tyson tried to force himself upon Teddy's then teenage daughter? Atlas cocked his Luger put it to Tyson's head. Suffice to say that Mike didn't ever try anything with his daughter again.
Floyd still and will always have more defense but Rigondeaux is chasing Mayweathers accuracy percentage. Rigondeaux is a hungry Cuban and hes good. Remember Mayweather beat a Cuban in the Olympics. Rigondeaux will be better than Pacquiao.

Right now Floyd's is having wet dreams.. Manny can take punches @ 145lbs and not backing down at all. That means a Phily Shell will give in one way or another after continuous barrage. I'm looking for good right hooks landing at Floyd's left rib cage.. A vulnerable spot to exploit. It will be a frustrating fight for Manny for sure but you don't catch a fly? You squash them!!

Teddy atlas yes he knows what he's talking about but it annoys me when people/trainers who never fought professionally keep talking like experts and they talk so logically! Getting hit in the head aint logical i have that tyson movie starring michael jai white teddy was right!
