Guilliman also has a (F)Rouge Trader under his belt, so I like to think he's secretly building a Harem for himself which my boy needs/deserves give the shit Guilliman has to clean up after the Impriam. Then they have the audacity to try an kill him for doing Their jobs better. He needs a break.
2 Eldar actually. With the Ynnari they have just a "lets not kill each other at least for now" type of deal. The Realm of Ultramar, on the other hand, its straight up allied with Eldrads faction of Eldar and by proxy several Craftworlds. While publically not official, its common in Ultramar and closeby systems that Imperials and Eldar fighting side by side.
Not quite. Yvraine had all intentions to resurrect Guilliman from the beginning because it was prophesied that without an actual leader, the Imperium would have fallen to chaos bringing the eldar species with them. Cawl was only able to restore Guilliman’s physical wounds but not his soul. Yvraine restored Guilliman soul using the power of Ynnead.
I think that Eldar’s falling due to the imperium is more due to them fighting nostop/7 chaos forces, and if they disappear the Eldars will be forced to fight Chaos with their lack of numbers
@@fersho450so in short the imperium falls the eldar go with them, thanks for reiterating what dude ALREADY said XD should add things not already pointed out because hate to break it to you but you just reworded what mans said when the end was really still the same. If the imperium falls so too will the eldar BECAUSE of them having no more allies but hey guess thinking is a bit hard
I mean, theres generally considered a truce between the Eldar and Humans. There may be skirmishes, but now both races generally just avoid each other and sometimes come to each other's aid, so there's that.
Like the battle on Cadia with 4 different Space Marine Chapters, Cadian Guardsmen, Eldars, Sisters of Battle, and Trayzen the wacky Necron of all things VS Abbadon and hordes of Chaos Marines and Demons.
There's only three races that could potentially co-exist in a peaceful way. Humanity, Eldar and T'au. The rest are incapable of co-existing with the others. Tyranids? No way, obviously. Orks? Yeah nah. Necrons? Possible but I have little hope. Then again, it would be a great redemption arch for them - they once petitioned the Old Ones for help with their super-cancer and were denied, causing millions of years of war and suffering. The other races could help them regain their mortal bodies, which could actually cause them to mellow out and be like "Y'know what, you guys are alright."
At this point warhammer is just grimdorkness, it is tedious seeing all the edgy same things to the point it becomes nonsense, Guilliboy deserves to clap those eldar cheecks
.. since no one knows exactly how the female eldar reproduce one could speculate it could be like that scene from species2 with the infected female astronaut. See you can have your ship and grim dark too😊
@@invertedrapture6458we very much do know how eldars reproduce. It's the same PP + VV process, but done multiple times, because to produce a child there needs to be multiple injections of (not necessarily the same) DNA. Majorkill did a video on it.
The grimderp fanboys won't let that happen. They literally forced GW to degrade an entire "good" major race into the most generic "oh, what if these aliens are all mind controlled" cliché. What's even funnier (and dumber) is that there still ended up existing a subfaction of this major faction that are, by all accounts, the good guys of 40k. The Farsight enclaves don't have Etherials, casts, hyperexpansionist tendencies, xenophobia or dangerous culture. Their leader is an uncotrversial, uncompromised badass good guy, and their technological development and quality of average person's life are still one of the best in the setting. Regardless of that, IMO it's entirely possible it was the one and only face-to-face interaction between Robu and Yvvie. According to again, a video from Majorkill, they didn't even talk all that much, most of talking on behalf of Eldar was done by Yvraine's swordmaster-bodyguard, whatever his name was. There is no connection between them. It makes more sense to ship Guilliman with that bodyguard than her. The most positive among probable lore developments is that they develop a somewhat distant friendship, that will have to constantly endure all the bullshit their kin will do to each other. And it will probably end when one of them dies horribly, probably Yvraine since her books were badly written and didn't sell. TL;DR I LOVE THIS SHIP, AND AM GOING DOWN WITH IT
I’d want it to be canon for two reasons: 1: that’s some good drama, especially in a society as xenophobic as the Imperium, and as self-righteous as the Aeldari. 2: closer relations between the Aeldari and Imperium would mean the Aeldari finally get some more fucking attention in lore.
Ngl, I’m actually completely on board with this ship. I don’t want it to be officially stated, but I want it to be hinted at. Guilliman taking Yvraine to his private quarters for a “talk.”
@@clementbianchini8651 I thought he was the guy malcador used to trauma dump onto till he killed himself, and then got cloned so the cycle could repeat
I don’t know much about the lore yet, but it seems to be going in the direction of the Imperium at least slightly warming up to the Eldar, and vice versa. I might be completely wrong but if I’m right then this would be interesting to make somewhat canon.
If anything the two seem to be content as allies at least, Vulkan might be interested if only because she's not drukari. Though I'm more surprised she hasn't introduced her twin brother if he still lives...THAT would be amusing.
Guilliman is working very hard to make that half eldar ultramarine librarian canon again. But in all seriousness, if not for that GW infamous thanksgiving art, there wouldn't be so many memes
Yeah, that’s what did it. Before that it was, “So Guilliman and Yvraine had a civilized conversation, that’s pretty neat.” But then the art came, and that caused the ship to sale. Now people accept it low key as cannon.
@@Kaito57 if she wasn't an eldar of Ynnead she'd already have met the infinity circuit just taking one of Guilliman's high tower long strokes. Surviving that she then contended with his infamous Twistus dicktus, aka Helicopter dickville, and a whole host of other ones, including, but not limited to, the alligator fuckhouse, Burmese Pipeline, Creamy Half and half, or even the god awful Neopolitan that he only pulls out when he's really going for broke and cavorting with the edge of Slaanesh's erotic warp fuckery. Gigachad Girlyman
I like how the just decided to bring Gilliman back life like it was always an option, like changing you socks daily. Makes sound like the priests just gave his hotel room a wake up call.
I imagine it was an issue of "They *could,* but would require the AdMech sharing tech and The Smurfs taking orders from somebody else. So, possible but improbable.
@@thebighurt2495 I don't think anyone but cawl had tech to try that and even he needed Yvraine help. And that was because Smurfs allowed that due to dire situation. Without all these there would be no way to even start.
Well Cawl COULD repair the physical damage to his body. He could NOT do anything about the psychic/soul/Warp related damage that was done to him. I imagine Cawl was hesitant to bring back a brain (soul?) damaged Primarch. They most definitely didn't need another traitor primarch.
Don't quote me on anything here, as I haven't read the book myself, but the gist of it is that Guilleman's wounds were more than just his body. In fact, his stasis would probably allow his body to generate. The bigger issue was with his soul, and Yvraine happens to be the low-key representative of the Eldar god of death, ynnead. So Cawl took care of Bobby G's physical condition, and Yvraine used her goth eldar magic to bring back his soul. Considering the role the Imperium plays ij fighting back not only Chaos forces (which includes Slaanesh) but also orks, nids and necrons, it really is in Yvraine's best interest to have the Imperium in fighting condition, if barely, and for that they need a competent leader. And who's more competent than the avenging bean counter himself?
@@sparking023 Why write 3 paragraphs explaining something that, by your own admission, you have 0 first-hand knowledge of? "Yeah I've never watched a single second of that show. Allow me to explain the plot to you. You see..."
Well, one would want them to be at least friends. I mean, Guilliman knows the Emperor would have made at least case by case exceptions for Xenos who were friendly and/or useful, so why wouldn't he?
Because of his brothers and his position as lord commander in chief 😂😂😂😂😂 I mean we all know Lion reaction after his awakening and informed roboute is dating with an Eldar as a meme
Rowboat and Ivraine both deserve some love. Imperium / Eldar teamup is overdue. Especially with a likely Vashtorr/ Dark Mechanicum / Peter Turbo teamup on the horizon...
Also the hive fleets getting strong enough to fully sweep the Milky Way doesn’t make things easier. But yeah G-man and Ivraine need less depressing lives, it would be wholesome which in the grim darkness is very hard to come by. Too bad Guillimom wouldn’t be around for that
I'm pretty sure when he began to rise everyone stopped fighting for a moment and stared, until a khorne berserker let out a battle cry and charged him, and got cut in half by Guilliman.
They were fighting in the hall around Guilliman. But when he raised up everyone stopped and even the Ultramarines were intimidated by his gaze. Then the idiot Khorne Beserker attacked and Guilliman started punching Astartes out of their terminator armour and ragdolling them.
It should be canon because I think watching the fallout would be funny as hell. Also it would actually be kind if interesting to see the xenophobia cool down slightly as a result of pressures from external threats like the tyranids forcing cooperation between the Imperium and the Aeldar, leading to improved relations. I know it's not that grimdark but it could at least make for some interesting stories.
I think it should be canon, 1. Bc it’s cute and nice in a sea of grimdark, they both deserve some happiness 2. They’re both cool as fuck 3. Eldrad even said that the fate of humanity and the Eldar are intertwined so them getting together and forming a alliance has already kinda be foreshadowed
@@tdpuuhailee8222 "Ok, man, I understand if you were drunk on that shit the space wolves make, but you *do* know you sent that thanksgiving postcard to like *everyone* right????!? Like the entire Senate, all the Chapters and Every. Single. Custodes. hell, there will probably be planetary governors getting those things for the next 50 years... And It has what we refer to as "New Relationship Energy" liiiiike *Big NRE*... You dig?
It should be canon for five reasons. Guilliman is human like us and love it important. She's worthy of him and he respects her, and she holds him in high regard. Perfect wife. He went out of his way to assist her in return, a man of honor for the Aldari is a catch. This would solidify and reinforce two civilizations, one is dying of population collapse and the other by attrition, honestly they need eachother to survive. They both know the warp and webway to a extent, which is what the emperor wanted yo use to end chaos. Because she is a space elven princess and honestly aint that enough lol?
Remember when Yvraine went out of her way to get a hammer for Guilliman when she was getting nothing in return and when questioned about it by her eldar friends she went all flustered schoolgirl and avoided to answer the question and instead just threatened her friends? Remember when Guilliman said he doesnt want get help from her, not because shes a xeno, but because he doesnt want to be indebted to anyone, human or xeno? Remember when a rogue trader with big tiddies gave Guilliman the nickname "Robu?"
Cannon. Gurily man indebted to Yvraine starts as a friendship and slowly blossoms into more than that. If we're ever going to have the Aeldari form a non aggression pact and a short term military defensive pact, this is where it would start
It should be canon, as far as plot advancement the two nominal good factions teaming up is a solid idea, and the places that story could go are very interesting
"The two nominal good factions" *looks at the Imperium* I don't think that's right at all. Sure the blues have their whole noblese oblige thing going on but they allow some real wild shit to go down on their watch.
Not to mention the part at the very end of their last interaction where she says "till our next battle" and he says to himself as she leaves "whenever you need me" not verbatim but it was something like that
Ok listen, hear me out, im not crazy here just listen. Just one time in 40k, 2 people just vibe enough that a relationship just works. Itd be one of the few times in 40k where something nice happened for someone. Plus hot elf gf. Itd be kinda like in lotr when aragorn and arwen got together. Plus the thought of her technically being the ultramarines' stepmom is funny.
I think the meme is hilarious but on another level. If it becomes canon and actually sorta works out it sorta shows the emperor is not as godlike as the people like to think. No I don't think it will work out permanently but Guilliman gets exiled from the imperium and helps out the elder
He would have to go really public with the relationship, put her in the command structure or something equally big. You gotta remember Imperial command has to convince the church that their actual living saint is a heretic. They really don't want to do that.
I'm usually not in to "shipping" characters, especially in 40k, but this one has some legs and would make for a good plot point to highlight the hypocrisy of the whole thing.
I thought it was half-canon and they actually fucked. Kinda wouldn't mind it being canon, she's fairly hot and slight glimmers of light in the grimdark are nice. Guilliman has certainly earned it, guy is overworked and underappreciated
Guillimen: "Huh… I just had a really strange sensation…" Yvriane: "And what might be that sensation, dear?" Guillimen: "Like a really disappointment brother… eh it's probably nothing." Yvriane: "If you're not going to worry about it, neither will I. Now come on, I heard Cal made some new toys for the kids."
If we have half cloned eldar human hybrids, purple orcs, outer horrors from the ghoul stars, female custodes and a canon relationship between the captain general and a tau then why can’t this be canon
I'd be okay with this being cannon. It would help balance out the grim derp moments that came before. And strategic relationships are always interesting.
If they’ll ever think about make it super awkward because normally the imperium would yell at you “heretic!” and Blast you to kingdom come and plus both are inexperienced in relationship could make it for some funny moments
@@giuliocoppola6774 I have this image of it being the worst kept secret in the Imperium, but everyone goes along with it because Guilliman is such an S-tier military leader.
To be fair, sex is a past time in the imperium to the point of being the only other thing civilians do beyond work, eat sleep and or train for guard duty. Eldaeri treat sex as a necessity to bring back souls. So. Based on what happened. Who it was, and the context of the culture's, this is essentially the flirtation stage.......
Guilliman absolutely needs a girlfriend to perk him up a little. Maybe he'll be a little less of a stick in the mud and actually hug someone for the first time in his life.
It's my head canon that Yvraine spreads rumors herself because she finds it funny when Captain Blueberry gets upset. The relationship is purely platonic and professional but she intentionally does and says things that make others assume the act. Then she sits alone in her room laughing that Gulibullman is yelling down at another citizen for perpetuating the myth. Edit: She does this because Guiliman won't touch her and she's salty.
Guilliman is a conplicated beast after waking up. Im still new to warhammer, but im reading the dark imperium trilogy, ans they make it very clear hes not omly heavily conflicted, but also willing to do just about anything to actually start to win against chaos
Yvraine: "Only one human warrior has bested me in battle. He is behind me; you are in front of me. Chaos, if you value your existence, be somewhere else!" _Chaos has left the chat._
Its cute people think this power couple isn't canon. But its ok to be wrong sometimes. Soon there will be a future half eldar that will one day be roasted to death by a sneaky Salamander.

Make it canon, my good man. Guilliman needs and deserves happiness. And a family of his own. So yes, it should be canon. AND devoid of grimdark/grimderp. Too much is too much.
It's a great meme and is fueled solely by that fact that she basically looked at him had a long talk and told him "you're mine now" not romantically at all he's literally a tool for her but we decided it was romantic lol
I mean…GW literally made a thanksgiving poster with her serving food at Guilliman’s table as if she was his wife. So while it’s not canon, clearly somebody at GW approves of the meme.
