Ragna Lambda date in the BB anime was peak for me. I never really noticed the hilarious amounts of terrible animation that was in Altered Memory until my friend brought it up to me later. I still love it.

What's funny is that in Alter Memory, Ragna literally tries to dispel the jinx of bad anime based on fighting games. 😂

How could I forget about the crazy Hazama faces lmao, those were my Facebook PFP's back in the day, so much quality. Although the musical arranges for the anime were pretty sick tho. That anime intro of Guilty Gear was what got me into the franchise. The aesthetic + the music was so godlike that I ignored the bad voice acting. Arc likes to blur the lines between games and anime, but I don't think they have the budget to make it 100% on par with their AMV. I hope they choose a short run, 4 or 8 epis, or an OVA format.

I was so hype for Alter Memory when it came out... Shootouts to Studio DEEN for not only Alter Memory but the QUALITY anime cutscenes for Continuum Shift I hope they go under, I hope the GG anime is even more quality than Alter Memory

Bb alter memory had its moments, probably more in relation to character interaction rather than the fights but the best thing about it was that had arakune and his original theme played when he attacked lambda. Anyways I hope the gg anime is good although it probably won’t be

Strive is the worst part in the Guilty Gear series. gutted gameplay, no representation for most of the canon characters in the series. no storylines. I think this will be the same funeral as Gilty Gear Strive himself. there is nothing to hope for.

I ran home from school to watch alter Memory when it came out... The disappointment... I hope the GG anime does well but I already suspect it won't. Maybe in the future Arcsys makes their own animation studio with their graphics engine.

as excited as i am, the ggst anime likely won't be as kino as the ggx trailer though by virtue of it being produced in a different time with different design methodologies, trends, tastes, etc taken into consideration (something worth mentioning especially since strive was made to mass appeal beyond just japan compared to past guilty gear games) better than nothing i suppose, but we're definitely 20 years too late for a gg anime produced with the ggx trailer's"flavor" as that time has long come and gone. (I'd love to be proven wrong on this though, will be tuning in)
