What I do like about xrd Ram is how her familiars on screen( the black and white creatures) are interactive and part of her gamplay, and are not just there to carry the swords like in strive.
Yousagi is a monster, there's no deny Johnny is top tier but his execution is so tight, it's super easy to choke with him and lose the rounds if you're not careful (check Zwei)
When the commentators were referring to the player Liluglymay I hadn't realized it was a player name at first... For a long while I was wondering why the commentators disliked the character May so much! 😅
honestly super happy to see that this game's getting rollback. im still lovin strive, but i really would like to give the other GG games a serious shot
@@Maver1ck101 I don't know about all that, I played AC+R and Xrd and I still personally prefer Strive over both of them. Hell, I prefer AC+R over Xrd simply due to the fact that it has the unga bunga gorilla himself, Order Sol.
@@imskxmo Xrd has a higher skill ceiling than Strive. So, if you like challenging yourself, there is no reason to play Strive now. Why would you stick to a game that is easier and takes away many options from you? It could just be that you find AC+R and Xrd too hard.

Damn Axl actually looks sick in this game. I already liked him in Strive but he seems so much cooler in this game. Also what whiffed IK attempt hurt my soul.
to rev2 players, a question, how easy is elphelt? ive heard people seriously comparing her to leroy, which is kinda worrying. also, how good is jacko in the final version of the game? ive been doing her trials and shes very fun lol setting houses after a KND feels a lot like those builder characters setting up stuff while theyre on the offensive.
Elphelt is... I would call her about about average as far as execution difficulty goes. She's got a couple of things that require tight timing and the faster speed of Xrd compared to Strive may or may not influence how difficult you find a character to play. People hate her because she is an excellent character with a relatively low barrier to entry, hence the Leroy comparisons (I think, I don't pay much attention to Tekken). As for Jack-O, she's... not great. Once her minions get going she's an absolute menace, but getting to that point is a serious struggle. Opponents who know her gimmick will shut Jack-O down hard, so you've got to be ready for that.
I at least hope Xrd get to be free for PSN subscription, that would make it slightly more crowded in servers, also because i'm a broke mf i can't buy whatever i want whenever. :/
Is the commentator openly refusing to play into the "Zwei Not" name pun? There's a point where he uses refers to the player as "Zway" and the move as "Zw-eye" in the same sentence. My soul yearns for pun. Give it to me.
@@ancycles1783 Yeah but also the Xrd rollback patches are going to be PC only, so offline will continue like this unless the organizers randomly decide to just all switch to PC.
Danger time is one of the most hated mechanics in this game. It's fun to watch but really frustrating when it happens to you. Strive's damage is so high that it might as well be danger time all the time.
Strive have it. It was integrated as base mechanic. I mean, the CH slowdown and the damage should speak itself. People who was 'happy' it wasn't in Strive was delusional af.
welcome to real guilty gear, where you can steal your opponent's soul. shit is metal. fr tho burst in xrd is throwable during its startup. can't remember if it's actually possible in strive tho.
Big salute to these brave lads for being the last group to ever have to play through a Xrd tournament on delay-based netcode. You can tell just by the expressions on their faces how much the network lag is affecting their performance during these matches.
