High key one of the best trailers for a game I've ever seen

Yeah, the first time I saw the 360 camera, I straight up yelled 'holy shit!'. Up until that point I thought the game was 2D with HD sprites (which would still have looked fantastic). Now that is how you make an impression.

I was at Evo when they showed this trailer, we were all literally mindblown

I remember it like it was yesterday, i was so hyped up. I remember not paying attention in class cus i had this video on repeat for months.

It was absolutely magical, I found out on the day of the announcement and times were slightly different, so no one was getting spoiled, most people only knew there was a new game announced and we rushed to it. We heard the character's voices and were already in for it, can't speak for everyone, but I wanted it so bad to be 2D, because I was still aprehensive of the 3D look of Street Fighter and felt like Blazblue looked so much better Then Ky and Sol appear and I cheer, they kept it... 2D? those sprites look kinda... wait... Even after the camera moved, even after the Dust animations, I did not believe my eyes, they looked odd to be 2D sprites in that first shot, but now they looked way too good to be 3D models. It took several rewatches to finally come to terms that it was a game running 3D models. It truly was a magical time

It was pretty cool, seeing the "jump" to 3D retaining all the trademark style of the saga, unlike whatever the fuck GG Overture was

It was the shit when the trailer for this game was shown. I was like WTF. i still have the collectors edition game.

My friends and I were hyped as hell, and lost our shit when the camera panned around.

there are ways to make it work, and this is one of them. the reason you _don't_ see 3D anime work very often is because it takes a lot of time money and effort to do it well, and studios usually choose 3D because they think it can let them skip that part. 3D should be a stylistic choice like it is here, not a budget option.

The moment people realized that this is actually a fucking 3d game when it looks exactly like 2d. Arc really did a good job

If only Strive game came out in 2014 instead of xrd.
