“You’ve made a fool out of me for the last time, SOL!!!” “Give me a break, kid…” And the worst part is, as Revelator showed us, KY WAS HOLDING BACK IN THIS FIGHT. HE NEVER ONCE FOUGHT SOL WITH HIS NATURAL BATTLEFIELD BLOODLUST AND FEROCITY HE SHOWED MONSTERS AND GEARS. “Just like that…you’re dead.” “How in the-“ “What’s wrong? Upset you had no chance to react? No fair warning? No declaration of battle? This is the truth of war and the battlefield, Sol…there is no room for fairness. You must strike first…”
I feel like at this early point of their little rivalry, Ky practically yelling that he's been made a fool of for the last time has got to be sorta offputting, because there is always the slight chance Ky doesn't keep to his goodboy morals and fucking obliterates Sol
I've always viewed it as Ky wanting to fight Sol on Ky's own terms, rather than what Sol calls "a real fight" where Ky would presumably win through deceit or otherwise.
