Visiting Guimaras! A little hidden gem. Mango heaven but also with some sweet surroundings! I'll make a separate video on how we tasted some mango related food :) But first, let's explore! And since I'll be with Bang for the rest of this trip (also to Islas de Gigantes and Antique) and she makes very cool vids as well I suggest you check out her video's about Guimaras too. She made 2 of them, with me featuring in it as well! Travel Guide: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IU4Br5MKqQc.html&t Beautiful shots: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-imgS9lD_7Mw.html&t Have fun watching! And let me know if you've seen Guimaras as well :D
I just love that you're featuring places that is not popular to tourist. Showcasing the raw beauty of the islands is just amazing and your voice in the narration is very relaxing which is very appropriate with the beautiful scenery you feature in your videos. Good job!
I'm a full Guimarasnon and currently studying as a Tourism student... seeing this videos make my heart happy thank you so much for promoting our beloved island... Its so hard to even pinpoint in map but people like you is making way for us to be discovered... I am studying this course in order to give back to my community and to fully utilize its beauty and potential in a sustainable way...
hahaha i felt like I was watching a travel documentary on TV. Both the content and story telling are very professional like National Geography thingy....keep it up!!!!
Hey this channel just popped up in my travel section...thought I'd check it out, and loved how you put it together. Really informative. Best part is you are off the beaten path, which is what we enjoy the most. Thanks for the tour of Guitars...man those temples on the rock faces were amazing! The Tuk took looked like a ton of fun..and I can't imagine how amazing the snorkelling would be there. New supporter.
Another great travel again Gretl. We from Iloilo just see that island every day. The nearest point is from Fort San Pedro they call the lover's lane...big ships passing in between those islands everyday. Donya Paz sank in the 1980's and Iloilo port was used to rescue and take care of relatives. There's another cave in those little islets you saw that has fossils of sea animals and plants in the roof. Locals doesn't know the history. I think our islands was probably submerged thousands of years ago. The nearest active volcano is Mt. Canlaon but they said there must another dormant volcano around just looking at the sand in Iloilo and Boracay. You're a great travel blogger Gretl.
I suppose to have my vacation this summer in the Philippines and go home for a while in Iloilo. But because of the pandemic now. I've stay put here in Thailand. I miss my home town Iloilo and wanna visit the beautiful beaches in Guimaras. For now, let's relieved the past videos that we had and enjoy watching it again and again. 😊
Very nice video! I just got back from visiting Guimaras, it's such a nice place. I have a couple short videos from Roca encantada, La puerta al paraiso and alubihod beach. I will try to upload them to my channel soon.

Guimaras is a mystical island.... there are so much hidden beaches and beautiful Caves in Guimaras....and of course The pride of guimaras.. Mangoes 😍 Hope you can come back again in Guimaras... in time of our Festival.... Manggahan Festival....
Thanx! Yt doesn't like me though for uploading way too little. It's fine :) I love those who watch and comment and I find it kind of cool it's not too big of a group :D Feels like a party! If it's too big you can't talk to anyone anyway ;)
Travel Gretl, You are right about your thoughts on the windmill, technically a windmill would mill something but the one we have here in the Philippines does not mill anything instead it produces electricity so it is a turbine, a wind turbine, but for the locals it is much more easy for them to remember a windmill than a turbine and much more nicer to the ear, Travel Gretl, i Would like to make a request if you don't mind, next time you come back here in the Philippines, please bring me the real thing, not the one you can buy on a tourist shop.
Hey there...im from bacolod i had gone there in summer and in my opinion this is the best beach in the visayas region...its more beautiful than boracay...i love this place the guisi beach resort
Hi, I'm from Guimaras! 👋 And yes, Guimaras is more than mangoes and it's blessed with such beauties of nature. 😊 Good to see you enjoyed wandering around here!
Come and visit the jomalig islands in Philippines. It’s untouched island and they have golden sand and pure white and soft sand in each island. Very diverse marine life. I hope next time you come and visit this island.
Out of 20 travel vlogers i watch and follow on youtube, you are by far the most original and have THE BEST 1 of a kind locations hands down. I am going to use your videos to find best places to go, I dont do that with other vlogers. Thank you. I also share your vlogs on my FB page. :D
Welp, I'm from Guimaras and this is the first time I've heard about your channel. By the looks of it, I think you're gonna really go far. Keep making great content. Cheers!
Thanx so much! It's also nice and small this way with very little hate comments (actually almost none) which is kind of nice as well to be honest. Better a small and good party than a big one, trashing everything ;)
