I also have a cage from them and I really love how easy it was to put together. But I wish the boarders from the coroplast were higher because when my piggies run all the bedding fly's out of the cage. So I guess this cage is better when you use fleece

Before I had to rehome my pigs I had a loft area. My more skittish piggie (CiCi, in my profile) was terrified by the ramp. I went to do something and I came back to check on them. CiCi was like half way up the ramp. When she saw me she popcorned and went up the ramp. She was so happy and was squeaking and popcorning and standing on the bars to make sure I saw her. I miss them. 😭

Hi ! My tips are make sure you do a LOAD of research 🧐 and also make sure you know what they eat and get a good , large size cage for them so they can run around . I wish you all the best I hope you have a lot of fun with them and ....... HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🥳!

These cages are WAY too expensive, not to mention currently out of stock. Really? 60 dollars for two pieces of colourful corrugated plastic ON SALE??? That's crazy. You have to replace that stuff, otherwise, it gets disgusting over time. Just stick with fleece y'all. Don't waste your time on this crap, there are tons of companies who do the same thing for way less, and you don't need to order all the way from the UK to make it happen.

Buying from a company will always be more expensive than diy. I like the cage. But I also like mine from guineapigcagesstore and our diy ones. The main perk to the expensive pre made is assembly time and overall time put into it. I clean my corrugated plastic once a week during my full cleans and Iv had some for a year and they still are in good shape. Minus where the pigs gnaw on it.

I have the exact same cage. I don’t find fitment to be very good or sturdy. Seems like cheap plastics and the fence portions can seperate very easily . Also slightly overpriced Overall it’s a mediocre cage, not too much selection out there for cages this size so it might be your best bet. Pros are you can always extend it in future use to make it longer by purchasing more squares and plastic tabs

When I first got my newest piggies 3 weeks ago one of them managed to squeeze through so I had to put cardboard around the cage so she wouldn’t get through to the other piggies before proper introductions. Luckily she didn’t do it again and all the pigs are happy now and together and there has been no more escapes 😂😂

Oh cool! Yeah I’m only a few days into having it but so far we are liking it. It’s way bigger and much easier to clean than the hutch. The hutch was a cute starter cage (it was my first ) but overall c&c has proven to be a way better choice for my piggies. Now if my husband will let me take over his work shop.... I could really take this whole piggy thing go a new level! 🤣🙃🐹📈

I made my own 2 by 6 cnc grid cage with a ladder to a 1 by 2 area, I only keep foster rabbits and guinea pigs in it though, don’t have any piggies of my own. The only problem is when I have to separate the male babies from the females if I have guinea pigs, they like to jump out the side of the cage to try to get back to their mom, otherwise no problems with cnc cages

Great looking cage. Mine have 50 per cent hay 50 percent fleece. They love hiding in their huge hay area. I also use a magazine rack to hold their extra hay. So an 8 x 2 c and c cage with 4 x 2 with hay and 4 x 2 with fleece and ikea dolls beds. I love the kavee stuff and have their lovely pink correx and their floral fleece.

I’m so into watching videos like this 💝Someone my friend said abandoned “hamsters” in a box with two garbage bags. He knows I have 3 babies (Cats) I for off the streets and have rescued 2 injured pigeons. So, he decided to tell me what he found and I said I will take them. Well, they are not hamsters they r guinea piggies …I never thought I have them. My gosh I love them. I didn’t give them up cause I hate how stores like Petco have em …in a clear box with bright lights and that’s it …it’s a sad life. I dont agree with stores willing them if they can’t give em a healthy happy temp home. Anyways …I ended up getting just today it arrived a home. I can’t do that material cause the one in the garbage bag is similar but green. It had stains. So I got two Midwest homes large size cause it’s plastic and of course I got the bedding n tunnels and I LOVE IT AND THEY LOVE IT. It b a lot easier to clean. It really is fun to see them explore their new home. Love how you decorated their home n that ramp …amazing🤍

I am so in love with the new setup! I love to call the fleece/felt tent strips "car washes" because they look so much like one! I am so happy with the way you did the ramps - most people make them too steep or don't line them properly for piggy feets. I also cracked up at the beginning "Let's get some piggies in them" referring to the new cage. The pups looked like "Are these for us? Questionable choice, mom. These are too small, but we can play in them. Oh they are for those little children next store? Okay."

You NEED a second guinea pig ( so long as they don’t have BIG issues with other piggies) you will have to do bonding sessions with them before you put them in together . Guinean pigs should always be in pairs or more 💖😊

One of mine got her head stuck in it once and it was the scariest thing ever! I thought she was dead! Luckily I managed to gently pry her out and I covered that spot with coroplast after. 😅

Awe I love me a pitty. She’s a mastiff/husky mix. I only know this bc she was “made” on a farm I used to work on so I was there when the event took place. It wasn’t planned. The owners had a female 9month old wolf/husky hybrid who they hadn’t spayed yet and she met the neighbors mastiff. And well..... along came Motoro. She was the last pup that no one claimed and she had gotten lost in the woods bc the Owners weren’t taking care of them so once i found her I was so pissed at them so I took her. 10 years later. Here we are🐕🥰

I got this cage but with the black grids. I also went for the purple Coroplast and I also got the rainbow fleece with the loft one to match. I currently have two 4 month old female piggies in it and will be getting a third baby female to join them.

@@GuineaPigJungle yes, I love the rainbow fleece and it goes so well with the purple Coroplast too. I got my third baby female piggy on Saturday and had a successful introduction session with my two 4 month olds and are now altogether in their Kavee c&c cage. I see that you have 3 piggies in your 2x4. Do you think it is big enough for your 3? Mine are still babies so not fully grown yet.

Just wondering how does the kavee compare to your other c&c cage in the video? Particularly I am interested in the ramp/loft. It's lower in the kavee, is that enough headroom? As the other one is almost 15cm higher I would say. Half a panel higher? How do they compare? Thanks! 😊

I personally did not like the loft/ramp kavee cage. The loft wasn’t high enough for the space below it be utilized properly. The loft also has a very low side so a pig can fall or jump down and that’s too high for their feet and can result in a sprained or broken foot. This has happened to a piggy friend with their kavee cage. I like Guinea pig cages store the most in regards to purchasing a set up. You can order the Coroplast from them as well and they precut it so you don’t have to make it yourself.🐹✌🏼

I personally do not recommend this cage. The loft space is not safe. And it does not have enough space under it to do anything with. I only used this cage for a few months before I replaced it. I had a friend who had the same exact cage and her Guinea pig jumped off the loft and broke its back. I suggest making your own from c&c grids or trying Guinea pig cages store. Best of luck!

Hi, I've just gone onto fleeces, it's working out really well but I was just wondering do you use a separate washing machine or just your normal one? I've been soaking the fleece before I wash them in the machine 🐾🐹🐾

I wish I had a separate washing machine! That’s a future goal of mine. To have a machine just for them. But I’m not rich (lol). I take a hand brush like for a dust pan and brush them out like heck outside best I can before I throw them in the wash.

@@GuineaPigJungle Ahh thank you, yes I've been shaking them outside then soaking them in a bucket before putting them into the washer.. I just thought I would check I'm okay to just put them into my normal machine so that's great x I'm new to your channel and it's really lovely, and really good to hear your experiences. We have 4 girl piggys, 3 live together and 1 by herself as she doesn't like sharing✨

or visit kavee and they have washable bags you can stick your guinea pig stuff in to wash so it doesn't go all over inside your washer :)

If your piggies are little escapees like mine used to be then a lid would be great! But if you have no problem with them escaping a lid isn’t all that necessary and usually just gets in the way. Hope this helps!

@@redactedvt7873 there babies and haven’t escaped the cage there in now but I’m gonna get a lid because I’ve got small siblings who are 5 and 1 yrs old and don’t want them going in the cage and trying to get them out and scare them

OK so first of all it would help A LOT if you mentioned if this is paid promotion! 🤔🙄🙄 Because the connectors ARE RUBBISHHHHH! They keep popping off. Songmic c&c is wayyy cheaper, connectors are more sturdy and stay in place. Now for the fleece liners..... Absolute crap!!! Its not a real fleece liners. They do not absorb ( no matter how much you wash) because they are made to look pretty but are not functional!!! Kavee is wayyyy overpriced and not a good quality comparing to other brands

I have their liner and I LOVE them, in my experience they are way better than the guinea dad one 😅 . I just washed them 1 time before first use and I can go 4/5 days with no damp area.

Can you buy 'lids' for them? As we cats so need something with a lid. We have a ferplast one at the moment. X x

I will have to go back and look at their website. You can also make lids yourself. My husband and I will probably make our own for this cage.

I do have 12 piggies and 2 dogs Thats are both husky mixes🙃✌🏽. The pigs have their own room with a baby that goes in front of the shut door so there double precaution. My pups are pretty old ladies so they don’t really care about the pig room to get in it. But... if one ran out...one of my dogs has a really high prey drive for small rodents. So that just can’t even happen. Hints the 2 door system. Bc I just step over the gate.

@@GuineaPigJungle that makes sense :D also if you don't have a wolfdog mix then im assuming you have an agouti husky. an agouti husky is a really rare and valuable verson of a husky and the color variation makes it look wild, like a wolf. it can be really expensive so ur lucky you found her on the street instead of having to pay thousands for a breeder

The dog that looks like a wolf is a husky/shepherd mix. The whole liter was found with the mom I believe. My tan dog is actually the one who has wolf in her. I was living on a farm with a family who had her mom (wolf/husky hybrid) and she got knocked up by the neighbors pure bred Mastiff. Which is just funny bc most people obviously think Tonka is part wolf and she isn’t. But my dog that looks like a pit/lab is actually neither of those breeds and is part wolf🤷🏻‍♀️
