Oh wow!! Surprised where the tooth touches the soft palate there’s not more obvious injury or irritation or whatever. How does that happen?? Glad he’s happily eating now 🥰

Hello Saskia! I learned a lot from you about guinea pig care. In my town there are not vets who care guinea pigs. (only cats and dogs.) So i have a question. My guinea pig has what looks to me like tartar on teeth. She is eating normally and doesn't look like she is in pain. Can i do something at home that can help her with that? I tried to give her some snacks and toys to chew on but she doesn't care . Thank you in advance for your answer! And thank you for making this videos. You help me a lot! Ps. sorry for my english, its not my native language.

my guinea pig is not eating well and fast and not biting the food , I don't know how to trim his teeth , but by seeing his lower teeth is big , so in my surrounding no veterinary doctor know about guinea pig .

This is the best type of rodent dental problem - such an easy solution even though it usually needs to be done perpetually. Had a hamster who was missing one tooth, so the opposite one grew out of control, but it was an easy thing to maintain. Yay Kenji!
