Thank you for the review. I agree that it is extremely thin and smooth, but has a strong flavor profile. Yes, it's hard to compare to some of the modern and thicker American porters/stouts, but this is only 4.2% ABV so when you compare this to your average Lighter American Pilsner, this one has much more complexity. A porter vs. stout is a difficult term to define. I think one of the most defining qualities of this beer are how beautiful it pours and how light it is. I'd have to compare this one to a light American pilsner. In that realm, I would give this a high rating relatively. Definitely agree that it is hard to compare to the modern craft beer. You are right. I think this is like Hopslam by Bells. In today's world Hopslam is not a hop slam but back in the day it was. Its hard to compare beers like this. Cheers

i love this stout, nice and creamy and light. I also love craft stouts, but this one just hits the spot ...without feeling bloated.

I havent yet tried the Foreign Extra Stout. I'm new to Guinness, but since trying both the regular draught stout and the Extra Stout, it has become my favorite beer. Love both of your guys' videos, keep it up!!

Idk about you but for me it was creamy,smooth,and balanced in the beginning but then a metallic after taste pop up idk I'm not a professional. I'm thinking it might have been the coffee and dark chocolate mixing giving it an acidic taste. 8/10 beer

It could be. Im not sure if they put dates on the cans or not but it could be a little older of a beer. Some times that metallic taste could be from older darker malts. Cheers

It is watery, but there’s something refreshing about it. It has nice balanced dark flavors and roastyness about it along with its lightness...hard to explain, but it’s still tasty despite what on paper...would sound “not up to snuff.” Their stronger Guinness drinks like Extra Stout, etc., are excellent. This is what I’d call a classic stout, but not necessarily the best, just a respectable one.

I got 6 adds in this 11 minute video. Beginning, middle, end. I hope RU-vid has just lost its mind and that wasn't your doing cuz that's a bit much. Lol I have some left hand milk stout nitros in the fridge. Might have to try some with booze after I do some looking. This is new territory for me but sounds really interesting.

Yea my wife said she also got a lot of adds. Now if a video is 8 mins long they just put adds in. I did check the box for adds after. I don't see them as I do have RU-vid Premium. Its should be fun seeing how Guinness mixes with other liquors. Cheers
