Check out our Christmas special here: / 500023768345012 More music, guitar, drums, BASS and raps coming your way in 2020! Lets change the world and love one another!
WOW!!! I started learning piano because I got inspired by youtubers just like you did. I've been learning it for about a year now and I hope I can end up like you one day!!
Dang 18 years on the day. I remember being in high school when this was the biggest thing everyone was talking about. Good times... part of internet culture forever 🥹🥲❤
@@Daltoids09 Damn. You weren't even born yet when this came out. Now I feel old. I was 6 years old when this video was uploaded, back when every video was either 240p or 360p.
I’m soooo happy I saved this video way back then when it first came out. I’m scrolling through my page and found this in my favorites. Still one of the best. It feels so heartwarming to think I was part of the uprise of RU-vid, seeing all of the ACTUAL og. Sooo cool.
Not even being sarcastic. I remember about two years ago when everyone was shitting on RU-vid for bad algorithms. I can now say it has certainly come a long, long way in that regard. It's excellent now.
There was a time when this was the top viewed video of a little website called RU-vid full of illegal clips and self uploads from regular dudes. This was 2000s' pop punk
Same. He's the reason why I got a guitar. Found out it isn't the instrument for me. But I still play a small portion of this piece. It's nothing but nostalgia
Today... after nearly a decade of searching RU-vid and watching random (albeit pre-selected) videos appearing for my viewing pleasure... I finally get this one. BRAVO!!!
I remember watching this probably 8 years ago, and it was taken down at some point after that for copyright (funtwo is the guy playing guitar and this channel stole his video off of some Korean site 14 years ago). After a while he let it get put back up because I guess he realized how cool it was for one of his video to have over 90 million views. Anyway I'm guessing all the old comments got deleted for that reason.
this was the video i watch when i was a kid (probably 15years ago), which then sparks my musical journey. now im in a band as bassist, composing my own song and perform for others. time flies!
I was there in 2020, when all was very difficult to me. I used to see this video and listen this cover; it always helped me in every situation. Now that today I watched today I feel nostalgic...
This just popped up in my feed, I couldn't NOT watch it. This brings me back man, still one of my favorite guitar videos ever uploaded. Crazy to think I was 15/16 the first time my eyes and ears were blessed with funtwo.. This video probably single handedly created more guitarists than any other.
This "shred over Cannon in D" was a super popular thing back in like 2008. Oddly enough, it seemed to be the first wave of the return of technical guitar playing as well as the return of the superstrat.
+funtwo What a coincidence! I just came looking for it just yesterday after so many years (didn't know it had been taken down) and thankfully it was uploaded again recently under the same name! Or else I couldn't have found it. Thanks funtwo for inspiring me to play guitar when I was younger, take my subscription.
I literally remember watching this video a month or two after he released it. There was a weird fad for a few months in 2005-2006 where the true display of guitar prowess was for you to record yourself playing "Canon". This is of course until Guitar Hero 3 came out and everyone got obsessed with "Through the fire and flames"
This cannon was played by the most popular guitarist in South Korea. I have grown with this music and still listened. Thank you for having a chance to listen this masterpiece, Junghyun Lim 임정현님 유키즈라도 나와주세요
This video started all. This is the "first" video on the first Era of RU-vid that goes Viral in that time. This was amazing, amazing skills and arrangement.
Впервые смотрю это видео, немного в шоке с количества просмотров ахаха, и удачно совпало, что сегодня этому видео будет 18 лет 🎉 Успехов тебе, брат 😊 🎸
I saw THIS YEAR'S and was amazed been looking for this ever since. I didnt play guitar when I first saw this nownim 34 and have played for 12 years this is still amazing to see
@TheGamerGauntlet It's not awfully hard to play for sure. The thing is it is not so easy as well. Unlike having so much resource nowadays, back in the day with being a kid to record a near-perfect performance is just incredible. Should give full credit for that.
Imagine watching this as a little kid, moving away from RU-vid, and then coming back to it and finding this in your recommended. RU-vid has truly changed in the last 14 years.
@@SnoozeTheRecluse Funtwo, he still plays. not as a professional. I saw his performance a few years ago in New Zealand, he is still incredible. He doesn't go super crazy but he is surely not rusted.
