this makes me feel so nostalgic I remember being like 8 or 9 and playing this on my older cousins PS with all his step kids at the time. Free Bird was one of our favorites. He introduced me to classic rock which I'm so thankful for. Little did I know my cousin was dealing with Lupus and years went by until he passed in 2013. Now hearing this just makes me feel as though his presence is still with us. I know he still jammin up there.

gosh i miss playing this game. i spent hours playing with my older sister and just having the best time. honestly going to look into purchasing a ps2 again along with every gh game. specially gh3 since it was our favorite ❤️

All of these I would play when I was like six and it just gives me nostalgia all the way back to the good old days :)

My family always play pop-80's song in the house back then, mainly my dad so I never heard any rock songs. Until my cousin brought the first original Guitar hero and boy my brain just instantly discovered a new horizon in my taste of music. I really owe these song list and the original Guitar Hero list big time.
Something I always found interesting about this game is how they not only retroactively added songs to the main setlist, but they also retiered some of them. For example, both Mother and Woman were in Tier 1 on PS2, which is a little intense for the first tier. And then in Tier 2, there was Strutter and Heart-Shaped Box, which are a good bit easier than the last two. Just switching those four songs around really helped pan out the difficulty at the start
At 8:56, I love how in the cover of Rock This Town by the Stray Cats, they actually made sounds of actual cats. Call it cartoony for a cover, but it really does add an identity to the song, so much so that it’s hard to imagine the song without it.
Ah i remeber when i was kid, my 3 big sister always would play this, and when we got Guitar Hero 3 for christmas they were so hyped. I remeber i like one song so much but i don't remeber the name.

I remember my teacher brang his xbox 360 and guitar he put us in groups to play song by song and I was the last one and the I played was Beast and the Harlot and I got 5 five stars and 100% complete without missing a single note and everyone were shocked, the entire class clapped to me good times in the middle school years
