I won a guitar hero tournament playing this song over ten years ago. I know it isn't a difficult song to play, but I hit either 98 or 99% of the notes, on stage, in front of a bunch of people. They were all normies too, so they were completely mindblown by how well I played. Definitely the highlight of my life.
This is awesome! This brings back so many memories for me as well since I did a guitar hero tournament and I was one of the only few girls playing with all the guys😂 This song will and always be my favorite to play! I used to always show my guys friends up and play this not facing the tv and they would always be mind blown😂
@@MrZachgonz bit late but i couldnt get past that bit for a whole week. i started playing at 8 or 9 but couldnt do anything on hard of expert. 5-6 years later and i was on expert and it all felt easy... until holiday in cambodia. that intro screwed me up so many times but now ive finished expert. time to do fc's and ttfaf :')
This song was so iconic in video games around the 2007-2008 time since it appeared in Burnout Dominator, Guitar Hero III, and Burnout Paradise. As a fan of both series, I was always hearing this song back then.
I remember my middle school advisory teacher had this game and some guitars, i played with a friend and the class thought we were gods cause we got 100% on medium 🤣

I think to begin with this was the only song I sung along to fully while playing.. as soon as I got world tour I hooked the guitar and a normal controller up and played the guitar and done vocals at the same time which was a challenge at 1st but ALOT of fun once you got the hang of it

i remember when this first came out i think it was around the time xbox 360 came out. my friend had one and were totally blown away by the games and the graphics. we played the crap out of this game.
Luis Rosario it is an alternate version, I think the band recorded just for the game, assuming we can't find it anywhere else but here, even the Official channel of the band doesn't have this version on it. I prefer this version though and I'm glad I found it lol.
@@gui10dorap I dunno. Metalcore ain't really isn't metalcore without its signature screaming/growling vocals. Not to mention the emotion Howard conveys in his screams is phenomenal when balanced with his profound singing voice.

@@gui10dorap You're good man. Just found this to be a bit bizarre considering one of Killswitch Engage's trademarks is great screaming often accompanied by powerful vocals. But meh, ain't no big deal.
I noticed this too. The screaming is very much more prominent on the album version, and to be honest with you, makes the outro to the song in my opinion. When he is repeating "There is Love", echoed with the screaming it sounds amazing. I'm pretty sure the music video also has the screaming "toned down", if you really turn up the volume you can hear it faintly, but no where near the album version.
I only played guitar hero (expert) on the handheld ps2/ps3 controller. This song and this game literally got me through high school. Here I am seeing if I still got it after YEARS of not playing.

Songs like these kinda dissapoint me, cause they have so beautiful start and then changes to become just another song. Listen to ''End of the Line'' from Devildriver, it also have a beautiful and so original beginning but then it changes completely into another boring and pretty average ''gutural voice'' song. Thankfully, this song is 10000000 times better than End of the Line, but its a fitting example
