Bill A it refers to the shape of the body. Instead of the cutaways being parallel or close to it, they are offset. The term normally refers to guitars like fender jazzmasters and jaguars

I'm running out of compliments, Michael!! I simply adore the Bass 6, it's literally the sound of my teens ( back in the 80s). The great thing is you don't attempt to mimick the music, like all the great players, you become the music!! I've been a fan for a while and it's so nice to see someone if only for a moment or two, get lost in the music they play. You do that frequently and it is beautiful to watch!! Thanks!!
