Every electric Agnesi played started to sound the same due to his playing style. Lemmo just brings out the character of every guitar he plays. Beaut of a Tele.
I think that NOS (new old stock) with the custom shop just refers to the fact that it has no artificial aging done at all as opposed to the “closet classic” and “heavy relic” which are aged to look old. Keep up the good work!
braderrick yea that’s what I was thinking, that and the 4 way switch isn’t the “out of phase” sounds, the 4th position is the in series one typically but Lemmo is freaking killing it and knows more than I ever will and I can’t imagine being filmed and talking on camera so I didn’t wanna scrutinize it but since you brought it up I’ll mention that haha. But lemmo, if you’re reading this, you’re killing it dude! I couldn’t do it if I were in your shoes, couple small mistakes every now and then ain’t shit and I love the free content so keep me coming! You’re doing a great job
I’d always thought it was as Lemmo said, a combination of older stock parts and new. You could be right because I see both definitions used, but it’s a term used in general manufacturing which fits with Lemmo’s description.
What Fender means by NOS is the guitar is finished to look like a vintage Guitar that has been locked in a time capsule. In other words, Fender's "NOS" guitars are given a finish that's intended to mimic a truly mint condition "safe queen" vintage guitar whose finish has been aged by nothing more than the passing of time.
Yeah, he's wrong about that. I doesn't mean it's made from parts they had laying around. New Old Stock means the condition is the same as if it were brand new out of the factory, regardless of what year it's emulating. No relic'ing whatsoever.
I agree. Mark it´s a less than average player in my opinion and too much biased on his opinions (Gibson, Gibson, Gibson!!!), at least showing this to us, Lemmo on the other hand put soooo much effort on songs and instruments capabilities. Way better guitar tone in general. Overall I do believe that Lemmo is going to sell more instruments.
@@raywt3237 - True - but if you have been watching these for awhile. You know plenty about the guitars already. Enjoy Lemmos playing. And don't feel bad. In the end this is just an ad for a cool guitar store in Southern California.
How does Lemmo continue to outdo himself every day? His playing is so inventive and unexpected - so uniquely his. I'm so jealous. Not to mention that that was the coolest modern-era favorite Tele I've ever seen. Loved every last detail of that one. Lemmo, you rule.
It didn’t take him long to really find his own style and get great at this. This guy has filled those big shoes. Can’t wait to buy a guitar from here one day.
Some completely get and feel the diversity of a guitar and how to utilize it regardless of brand, style etc...... most merely hear the result of that talent
This new guy is 100000000x better. Thank you so much. Also this is the most beautiful looking and sounding guitar I have ever heard. I'm literally speechless
Michael, you are doing such a great job and I'm proud of you. My son turned me on to this show during it's first year. We both play and are complete guitar nerds. We live in Florida but we cannot wait to see all of you at Norms when we get to visit the store for our first time... that is actually a dream of ours, going back to us being guitar nerds,ha.,😉😁🤣😂😅😋 We love Mark Agnesi and wish him the best, Gibson needs him and that is the coolest thing that he got that awesome job....well deserved!
Holy cow. It doesn’t really matter that I missed this by a year because I could never afford that guitar anyway, but wooooow. It’s so perfect. Beautiful, and the tones are perfect, especially the 3rd and 4th positions shown here. The playing was excellent, as usual, too.
You really stepped up to the challenge of GOTD and have slayed it every single show. Fantastic job. NOS is new old stock, new material built to the exact specs of the year model.
an orange guitar is so very cool in it's own right , but and orange , custom shop , Tele ? too much , I luv it , with the bigsby and the phase shifter , thourghely modern Millie. Another great demo Lemmo , loops , clean , dirty , the whole neck , the best guitar show on the web.
As much as I loved how Mark Agnesi hosted GoTD, the overwhelming sense I get from Michael Lemmo is that any guitar can sound great if you know how to get the most out of it. Lemmo is a genius!
