I work in professional theater as an actor and stage manager, and am also a musician. This is one of the most intriguing online productions I've seen! Some of my theater associates might say, "oh that was simple choreography" or "good voice - dumb song" or "oh, sure, he needed his script on the table". But let me tell you, this is one of the most unique ideas, performed in a manner that is informative, honest, real, curious, fun, and clever. Not to mention, the short songs are perfect in length and pleasant in melody. I look forward to more.

I was really expecting it to end with a guy dressed as a BOSS DS-1 wielding a katana and slashing everyone else into pieces.

I can't believe I just watched this, that it actually took place. Has anyone ever had such blind dedication to elevating an industry more than Josh Scott? No. The answer to that question is a resounding no.

I love pedals. I love theater. I love this. Also Rhett's tone throughout the show is truly inspiring.

I laughed, I cried, I UniVibed. This brought out feelings deep inside me, but that could have been the tacos. Just see it, I think you will agree - IT IS A MUSICAL!

I fully expected the wah to come out vocalizing wah sounds for the entire song.

Although I miss a little love story in here.... like: Reverb loves Delay, but he's giving her a hard time because he's always late, so she has an affair with Compression. But he's smothering her too much, and as Delay meets Phase 90, who is Compressions ex, it all ends up in a confusing love squarewave!

I love when people are genuinely excited about the things that they love and then that love leads to something like this. Absolutely killed it, everyone involved.

All these times Josh traveled to England and met with TPS was to perfect his british accent for the role.

I'm endlessly impressed with how far JHS pedals is willing to go with their content and I'm tremendously thankful for it. Looking forward to a sequel about pedals in the 70s. I'd love to see that take on a new form. Someone suggested pedals on ice. Or maybe it could be a soap opera. Maybe some sort of Pedal Olympics. Or, (perhaps better suited for the 80s) a Pedal Sci-Fi Star Wars/Trek parody. Pedals holiday special. Pedal circus/Cirque Du Soleil. Pedal Opera. Pedal Ballet. Possibilities are endless.

The most amazing, preposterous event ever. Kudos to the troupe for outstanding work.

I get to say that I was alive the day that Pedals the Musical became A THING.

Cast and crew, dancers, band, everyone was absolutely amazing.

Wow! Crazy! Obviously there was some editorial choice that ought to be made (No Super-Fuzz... No Dallas Rangemaster... No Mosrite Fuzzrite... No Jordan Bosstone... No Burns Buzzaround... etc. etc.) But all in all, the most iconic designs/circuits are there and presented in a very very entertaining way. Awesome !!! Thank you all! We want chapter 2 :)

The biggest jaw drop really was when Josh came on stage in the end and he literally looked like a giant. All jokes aside, thank you all for this beautiful art/history piece, an outstanding example of a joke that went too far.

I'm 68 (still can't believe that), been playing since I was 13, so I was around when these pedals were born. The Fuzztone changed our lives. I had the one that plugged into the guitar. This was great. I See a TONY.

That was wild. I loved it - Thanks for the history lesson! I'm not a fan of musicals normally, but that was super fun and enjoyable. I applauded like I was in an audience. That's so great that you were able to support the theatre industry through this production. It was silly, historically accurate, made with love, and more enjoyable to watch than I expected it to be - from a person who is not a fan of musicals, I loved this. I'd honestly love to see more production pieces like this on RU-vid. Bravo!

Josh, thank you for this production! At first, I was thinking, "Is this real?" But then quickly, yes, it was REAL! My favorite was the Tone Bender segment. Rhett's guitar was just the right amount of Clapton shout-out, and the song itself was the most "Hamilton-like" to me. As always, Nick was fantastic. I really enjoyed the whole thing, and look forward to more decades!
