Guitar Pedals: A Mockumentary (It's the Office but Pedals) 

I’ll never do this again.

I teach theatre history at a large university. Every undergrad student in our program takes two semesters from me, beginning with pre-Greek Egyptian theatre, all the way through to modern theatre, and I can say without doubt that you have made one of the pieces of theatre I've ever seen.

And there it is. Josh is the modern day Corky St. Clair.

This was like a episode of the office. Perfect. Rhett almost getting beat down for not using the authentic pedals was my favorite part.

If possible, this is even better than the musical. Not only is it hilarious but it fleshes out the personalities of the pedals more. Great job to all involved!

I *loved* the musical. It was great. Worth staying up until the middle of the night awesome. But this... this makes the whole experience perfect. You guys just made something perfect. Perfect.

Having grown up and worked as talent in musicals before I have to say Josh does a really good impression of kind of director who's notes keep you up at night and have you questioning whether you made the right career choice. Well done man

This was an amazing thing you put together. I watched it with my 11 and 14 y/o and it’s lead to them asking questions about the pedals I use and how they interact with one another. We’ve had conversations that probably never would have happened if they hadn’t have seen this musical. For this, I thank you.

... and I didn't think they could do better than the Musical. I can't wait for the "making of documentary" of this Behind the Curtain (A Very Serious Documentary).

Who did the camera work? I like how the shots were framed. The camera person also really nailed the frenzied zooming and focusing that you see in the genre. This single element increased the quality of this epiode a lot. But props to the writing/improv also. This aspect was really good too. The characters were surprisingly well developed given the short development time.

Josh hasn’t gone far enough! We need more pedal history in musical form. The behind the scenes adds to the enjoyment of it all.

What art, at a time in my life when I though theater was dead this was the resurrection.

My 6 year old daughter is asking for a short scale bass for her 7th b day I got her a Jackson. She says she loves this show and I think its a big reason she wants to play music. So thanx!

For whatever it's worth, I'm a film producer, and I have to say this whole project has been run with seriously professional skill. Beyond the refreshing goofiness (just say no to bo bos!), the musical, the behind the scenes, the camera work, editing, acting, etc is actually very tight and impressive, hard to believe you guys just winged it as a small crew, and yeah, Josh dude, you have no eyebrows and you're freakishly tall ;P

Damn, Octavia's got attitude! I suddenly want her on my board. Although after a while I may get tired of that kind of tone.

Is JHS still in the pedal making business?! How do you guys have time for all of this?!! However you get it all done, good for you - this is awesome and lots of fun. This whole "Pedals" project has been a bit unbelieveable to watch/experience but I really appreciate the deep rabbit-hole content and hope there can be time for a lot more! :-D Can't wait for the 70's.

Sometimes in life you have the unexpected joy of observing brilliance in the combination of song, dance & the thespian arts..... This was not one of those times. Although I laughed my Gluteus Maximus off. MVP's: Alice Scott whom (like her household I'm sure) Got the job DONE! Tilly Shull who tagged along and then became a very important factor in all of this. And of course, Josh Scott whom educated, entertained and most importantly "Employed" hard working good people during a time of much unemployment for all our entertainment industry's. I say with conviction ""hip hip hooray" to you good sir. Don't lie Rhett..... I'm sure you are the unofficial/official Musical Director for the upcoming off, off Kansas City highly anticipated production " The 70's Pedal Musical". Josh: When the pestilence ends, Please sell tickets. I will fly, drive, bicycle and/or tricycle from D.C. to come attend a live show. This show seemed a little too compressed around the mids. It was both hard & soft clipped on both the highs and lows and didn't clean up like I thought it would. But! Josh was outstanding in the field and they all had potential.

I assumed "iron-curtain", I didn't realise the context.
