LOVEBITES - M.D.O. lyrics: After came the permanent disaster A tragic neurological disorder Turning me into a crazy monster Inverting what I see to be imposters “Never have I seen this” said the doctor Observing my condition and I wonder Beauty’s in the eye of the beholder But maybe it’s because of my disorder Burning me to sin Is this salvation? Deceive those who are seeking truth Believe only the justice in you Naive thinking will lead to doom Betrayals don’t ever come from your enemies M.D.O. After came the permanent disaster A tragic neurological disorder Turning me into a crazy monster Inverting what I see to be imposters “Never have I seen this” said the doctor Observing my condition and I wonder Beauty’s in the eye of the beholder But maybe it’s because of my disorder Turning me to rust Is this damnation? So free, blinded by ugly truth Agree only to your point of view Defeat bigotry and its rules Don’t trust what you see, but believe your enemies M.D.O. For those like myself who loved the late 70's to early 90's metal scene, Lovebites has packaged that all up and modernized it into Lovebites Metal. This is classic, yet, it's not. It's performed to perfection. Some favorites of mine when thinking thrash including this song, although the difference is negligible: Judgement Day Break the Wall Set the World on Fire Dissonance Thunder Vengeance Winds of Transylvania Scream For Me
A bit more raw than the usual high quality offerings of late. I'm talking about the sound quality. M.D.O. is an older song. I have a theory they are preparing Western ears (those who will experience them live for the first time) to their actual live sound, with this. Everyone will expect a super-duper well balanced/mixed live performance. DVD post produced sound simply isn't possible live. If anyone reading this is on the fence about catching them live this year - do it! I don't think they'll make a habit of leaving home turf often. Just my opinion.
