She is insanely talented, and great to see her back after many years absent from RU-vid ❤️ Her Dragonforce cover is incredible as most of her covers are 👍

I love the "what the hell is happening" look on people's faces the first time they experience her playing. She started learning classical guitar at age six (which you can tell by how she holds the guitar in this vid). She was 17 when this was recorded. She disappeared shortly after this whilst she went to university to study engineering(!) but she's back doing vids now. I love her little smile at the end, where it looks like she didn’t even break a sweat, as if she's saying: "And that, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, is how it's done". The expression note on the piece is “presto agliate” which, I believe, is Italian for “go like hell” and that is what she does for six minutes - at 170 bpm. Tapping, hammer ons, pulloffs, bends, harmonics and mad flat picking - aside from everything else, this is a master class in guitar techniques. Ya gotta wonder what Ludwig would say if he came back and watched this. I tried tapping along, to the bits where she is tapping, just trying to match the rhythm and not even trying to land on the strings and failed miserably. I think I'll take up the tuba.

So happy with all the recommendations. Altitudes is great! Tina S is back! Her social media is updated with new recent pictures.

Great reaction. All Tina's covers are insane, especially Altitudes (Jason Becker) 🤯

Agree on Altitudes, absolute masterpiece. Jason Becker himself got his community tweeted about it the day it was released. More feelings in this one. Same with her For the love of god cover, Steve Vai praised her. And many believes her cover is better than the original in terms of feelings. She recorded the Sonata when she was 17 yo, it was the last video she uploaded and she stayed silent for several years afterward. She is now 24 and just resurfaced last week, updating her profile with a new photo and a link to what seems to be her new band. She said more news are coming soon.

Her old videos were recorded by her guitar teacher. She moved on to university life. She's now in band called Spin Twice, soon to release music. The internet waiting to hear from her again.

This is the last video Tina uploaded, she disappeared from the internet after this upload. Every single one of her covers is perfect and mind blowing. She is by far the best female guitarist on RU-vid. And speaking of Malmsteen, watch Tina's cover of his "arpeggios from hell", she makes that song look easy.

My favorite of Tina's covers are For the Love of God and Altitudes. They also require technical ability but also require touch/feel/emotion. I enjoy her version of For the Love of God more than I do the original by Vai.

Notice the ease at which she performs this incredible piece. And also notice that she is putting the guitar on the leg where most classical gutarist play instead of most shredders use the opposite leg. See her dragonforce video (through the fire and flames). Just a note to show you how respective she is for the classical piece she is playing.

This is the 3rd move movement, She is playing it as it is written. It is meant to be played rapidly and aggressively. Most pianists' take as a challenge, Tina plays it 1 take; 6.5 minutes with no mistakes.

Moonlight sonata AKA Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor, ''Quasi una fantasia'', Op. 27, No. 2 has three movements and lay public is mostly familiar with the 1st one. 1. Transcendental, somnolent, peaceful, devoted, romantic and slow. 2. Mundane, almost boring, slightly faster a preliminary to the third movement 3. ultra fast, copmplex, climactic, infernal, leap-over to the alternative reality...

Yea, but she's been playing classical guitar since she was 5. Implying she's only been playing for 4 years here is just a bizarre way to represent it.

Tina Setkic is awesome and has some updates coming soon. I hope you do more of her, "Altitudes" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NhKEBTz2N28.html , "For the love of god" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nJi8iSpzq9I.html are a couple. I also hope everyone is subscribing to her channel. She has over 204,000,000 views and is less than 4000 away from 1 million subscribers! Those are great numbers to come back onto the scene 🙂

Since you are apparently not familiar with it I suggest you check out one of the many piano renditions of "Moonlight Sonata". third movement by a top drawer classical pianist. There are several. It is said Beethoven wrote it to show off his complete mastery of the piano.

Most people think of the first movement when the hear "Moonlight Sonata". It is familiar, beautiful and relatively easy. The second movement is seldom heard, boring and utterly forgettable. The third movement, this one, is exciting, difficult to play on a keyboard and, I would think, impossible to achieve on a guitar. Even so, you just heard it flawlessly executed by this young lady who seems like she needs the same amount of effort to yawn.
