Acoustic Guitar song lesson - learn to play What a Wonderful World on solo acoustic guitar. The song is written by Bob Thiele, (George Douglas), and George David Weiss. It was first recorded and made famous by Louis Armstrong and released in 1967 as a single. This is a fun song that goes over really well with the crowds and the lesson is arranged for solo acoustic guitar. Learn the strum patterns, chords, changes, and techniques to play the complete song. I think the bridge should be Em instead of G

You fixed a couple of chords for me, and that's with the G7 and Dm7. I'm thankful 🙏 But I still prefer to use Dm instead of Dm7 for the verses.

What would be helpful is to put up the lyrics with the cords on top so you don’t really have to mention where each cords goes . That way we see it and hear you playing it at the same time. And good idea about the simple strumming pattern.

Hi Dave, good job on "What a wonderful world" I looked at several versions of the song but yours was the most helpful. Also good decision to move from F to C. I have one question please. I can't quite figure out if you are playing the intro over two or three bars? Many thaks regards from Suffolk in the UK.

As far as that intro think of it as a measure on each chord - count it like 1-2-3-4 - so that makes the intro 5 measures long. Fun song to play!
