So glad you did this song. It’s a masterpiece. John is a beast, of course, but Keith is a phenomenal player in his own right. He’s not as technically sound as others, but he’s a master at “less is more”. Only plays a few notes but so expressively. Also just wanted to add about John: he’s a master at knowing what a song needs. He just has a feel for knowing what notes to hit, and he rarely overplays. Of course he adds his own flair, but it almost never feels out of place. Obviously I’m a fan of John Mayer. 😂

Michael, please react to Gravity from the Meyer/Urban Crossroads if you want to see and here (in your words) some hot shit!! Some of the most soul drenching tones, runs, solo's and phrasing I've ever heard. This Urban/Mayer Crossroads is just a clinic on how to play while also allowing the song to breathe with some space and beautiful phrasing. This is one of the best collaborations I've ever seen and I would LOVE if you would check Gravity out by these two amazing players. I was going to choose "Gravity" at first as it's my all time favorite Mayer sing and resonates with me on a personal level for reasons other than what John wrote it for I'm sure, the reason I chose this one is because I just love the intro to this song and how Keith just let's John go crazy on his song.....
