Well done. Michael, you have much heart in you. I suspect that you have many around you, family and friends, whose lives have been made better because your life was a pat of theirs
Eric explains it himself. It is a voice. Thanks Michael for making this all so interesting and understandable (and I do not do music theory!!). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VWYps2c0tM0.htmlsi=35nNBYXE7gOGtHvP
I loooooooved Mr Clifford’s version here. He brought the lyrics to life and served them up with just the right sound with his instrument. I could see in my imagination this man on a quest as Clifford was singing. He took me there. Excellent.

Well hello Michael. I'm blown away by this. Thank you. And you're right, I never anticipated the reaction to this. It's so heartwarming to have my music shared and appreciated in this way. All I do is play from the heart. I go to where the song is. By the way, in the description notes to my video is a link to my tutorial showing in particular the intro. 🙂 Thanks again, you've made an old man VERY happy. And I will subscribe to your channel and watch 🙂.
If you havent listened to Jeff Buckley....please do so! Him and Tori Amos are very much alike in their absolute proficiency with their instruments of choice and their voices. With both of them, you kind of feel like they are spititual beings just operating on a whole different level and they are true artists through and through. Listen to the Jeff Buckley live at Sin-e and you'll feel exactly the same vulnerability, joy, sadness, hope, desperation that make up our lives. I harp about Jeff Buckley on RU-vid because not too many RU-vidrs actually talk about this ethereal connection that we feel with him through his music. I feel, Michael, you can!
Phenomenal! You should react to some of the songs on Slash's newest blues album. For instance Slash ft. Demi Lovato - Papa was a rolling stone or Slash ft. Brian Johnson - Killing Floor
Thank you, Michael! I am glad to have you for a "Friend I haven't met yet!" Thanks for sharing your Spirit with the world. You help to make this life a better one.
Who gives a joint like this to someone else?! How?! Prince is the baddest mf to ever do it! And you’re right, it is the funkiest groove of all time. Best drum track! Best bass line! Best rhythm guitar and riff!
Kendrick is cut from the cloth of rappers that give advice and tell tales of their own failures. The Queen Latifah's, DMX, Nas... Kendrick is up there with some of these intelligent minds.
Thank you, Michael (and Stewart)! That was great! I always know where to go when I need a pick-me-up. Thank you again, Michael. Your positivity and good heart are much appreciated. Cheers, my Brother!
Is Jeff Daniels really a singer/songwriter who acts as a hobby?!?!?! This is a GREAT SONG!!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qCdDpjZPREU.htmlsi=8TBioc8vmTNuHshp
Van Halen was always about rhythm groove and swing. Michael Anthony got it for sure. Not the most technical bassest ever but he got the assignment! And he was a great singer.
Would you be able to give us a clue to wtf Danny Gatton is doing, starting at 10:09 of this song? It sounds like Joe Satriani doing chicken pickin' licks after he really did surf with aliens. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Seg5QBpnBV4.htmlsi=Rvf9oiO_b77DfEYv
Im just getting deep into Kendrick too. I liked his songs but now im studying him. This song and performance was so pleasant to my ears. Your reaction mirrors mine.
Scrapper Blackwell wrote "Nobody Knows you when you're down and out". Would love to see you break it down sometime. Such a great song. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ii7KiJcLuQs.htmlsi=Kp-dsI8rOO1rS_fU
You talked about a great song transcending genre. Another good example is Aurora's cover of Imagines Dragons' song "Believer" (albeit on piano, not guitar).
Funny. I’ve been doing an acoustic cover of this same song for a long time. Played slightly different, and it’s not a tune that’s totally smooth slowed down acoustically but l like the lyrics.
After seeing what you had to say about Vince Gill's 'Oklahoma Borderline,' I just had to see if you have anything to say about this. And can you believe Steve Martin on banjo? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yQIJuu3N5EY.html
As if you were going to give two of the best live performers of the last 20 years anything less than a 10/10 :P They killed this performance. Sad that people nowadays forget there are performers at this level. Love that she reminded him singers run thing at 27 mins as well :)
I always say to everyone that does not understand the hype when it comes to Kendrick lamar that to be able to understand his music but more importantly to enjoy his music and enjoy the art you have to have some sort of musician background to know the genius that he is or at least if one does not have a musician background to be an individual that’s passionate about good music.. if an individual doesn’t have any of those then that’s how they end up being a Drake fan lol
