As a Brazilian, I need to make it clear how happy I am to see Lari here. She's so amazing. And man, you talk so passionately about what you love. It's contagious. Thank you. And now you know Lari, it's time to listen to Mateus Asato as well. You will thank me.
Lari Basilio is an incredible guitarist and musical artist. For those who haven’t spent some time listening to her play, dive in. Amazing amazing stuff.
Lari has such a wide playing ability, i’ve heard her play super heavy to mellow clean runs. Her ability to bounce between finger style to pick is fluid. Never heard this piece before myself and damn.. just makes me love her even more. This piece has such a variety of moods and styles that some how that arranged in this way make sense.
I stumbled across Lari in a Music is Win mass jam video. The guys were shredding well enough and suddenly this master of melody and tone stops me in my tracks. The best guitarist I have seen in years. For me, her melodic sense is up there with instrumental greats like Tommy Emmanuel and Joe Satriani.
Lari is one of my biggest inspirations. I bought her album as soon as it got released and it's truly amazing. She has made tons of great short solo tracks in all kinds of genres outside her album as well. Such a great musician and guitar player! I'm looking forward to more reactions from her tracks.
Found out about you 3 years ago when I took your course... can't believe you didn't know Lari Basilio. Man, you're in for a treat, her channel is full of snippets that are even better than her 2 albums... she's among the most melodic players of the new generation.
This is great! Lari's music isn't always my cup of tea, but I love to listen and watch her play, as she's a phenomenal player and always always plays with unrestrained joy - and that's what it's all about. Good on ya Lari!
That was freakin awesome - those folks can play. The shifts and timing between the players... and chicks that rock, is there anything better in the world!?
Lori, was first taught by her dad guitar, later teachers took over, she is brilliant, I first saw her as i was looking for a how to learn John Mayers Queen of California her rendition is so nice too. love her & this band! killer!
Ladies and gentlemen, Michael Palmisano PUT DOWN his guitar near the end of this tune. It's so killer, he doesn't need to play along, just listening is.... why we love music. Bravo!
She hung out with Tim Pierce and Pete Thorn on ep 16 of the ‘Tim and Pete Show.’ She seemed pretty comfortable hanging out with those two cats - that’s the caliber of player she is… solid skills and tasteful choices.
Lari rocketted up my favourite guitarist list to easily top 5 - probably my top 3. Not only is she an incredible guitarist and composer, but she is a sweet, lovely person.
This song was absolutely amazing. I love it when guitars players use open tunings more than just bar chording open strings. The Tea Party was famous for doing amazing things with open tunings. I experimented with an open C variant which I don't know what it would be as I'm not music theory savvy
Hey, great content. Just got my first PRS this past week. Semi hollow custom 22. Charcoal burst, quilt top. Really beautiful. Has great tone, clean and crunchy too.
I can't play a guitar if you had a gun to my head, and no hope of learning, but I am a music freak nonetheless. I watch this channel faithfully because I can't explain how much Michael's genuine reactions to him listening to every artist just fills me with such joy! I can't even with him.... Makes my day every day. Plus - they GREAT artists I get exposed to.. wow!! Put this at the top of the list!
I first heard her when Mary Spender interviewed her. She's super humble and enthusiastic about creating music. She's also a lawyer, so she takes the business side seriously too. Reach out to her and I'm sure she'd love to chat.
Hey Michael you should check out the band The Blue Stones! My favorite is "Spirit" or "Be My Fire" but any of their stuff is super solid and they are still on the up and coming! Keep it up the great work!
I've only ever heard her play electric before - she's a beast of prog-rock, and an absolute joy to watch. This acoustic number is great new ground for my ears! Here's a more typical number for her, where she's slumming with Greg Phillinganes, Nathan East and Vinnie C. on drums: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5VkBUGfixZo.html

and of course the G3 from the city i live (blumenau - SC) -> our y malmsteen -> deny bonfante, our s. vai -> regisson silva , and our j. satriani -> jean wosniak
That was fire. Watched some of her other stuff. Man in the Mirror is incredible! Watching and thought, "What if she and Cory Wong collabed?" The world may imploded. I watched this video 3times.
Hey, Michael! Is there anyway you can do more sing reviews using acoustic guitars? I love all guitars but acoustics really sing to my soul! Lol. Love the videos. Such insight and such an in depth breakdown.
Lari has grown tremendously over the last 4 years. She's had chops for a long time, but her creativity and taste for hook is getting really into some awesome territory. This short by her I so wish she would make unto a full release, check it out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KMGBzKJv9Jw.html she is so relaxed playing this it is something to see her reach such a high place...
I love your videos and I tried to look to see if you reacted to Alejandro Aranda. He was an American idol contestant 2 years ago. His skill level on the guitar and piano are crazy.
you are a great teacher and i love your videos. i have been playing guitar for two years now and feel like i have hit a plateau, I really want to dive into music theory and was thinking about your course. I hope to become a much better payer but from the videos i find on RU-vid theory just confuses me
Please! Anything by Jeffrey Martin. His story telling and songwriting make him so damn addicting to listen to! “Coal fire”and “Poor man” are great places to start. “Best for the best” is simply amazing. “And if the best Is for the best, then the best can be damned”
If you like this, you should check out Rodrigo y Gabriela if you haven't. Insane acoustic duo from Mexico. Still want to see you review something from Pigeons Playing Ping Pong though. They have an absolute shredder and are from Baltimore.
It’s filthy, nasty, bitchin and dirty I get all this I wish I could understand all the guitar lingo to really absorb what your saying but I’m trying to learn and that’s why I’m watching this channel 👍
Hey mr palmisano I have a song that you might like because of Tyler Childers and all the country style music you have done videos for. The song is broken window serenade by whiskey Myers. Should totally take a look at it.
Hello good sir. If you get a chance, check out Erick Turnbull Music. Would love to see you review one of this guy's songs. Look at Birds Eye View, or even Blues Jam in E etc. Cheers!
I think that’s her brother on the other acoustic. They are phenomenal together. Check this electric gem out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FuKYvGsMXn4.html Wonder what that family Christmas is like?
I really want to hear you react to Syncatto - LET US DANCE. Charlie is one of my favorite song writers. Really wanna see your thoughts on something out of your comfort zone.
