ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5F9kTunEKt4.htmlfeature=shared It's great fun watching this guy create a piano part for this song on the fly. Great musical depth to pull this off
you're a good teacher, i don't even have a guitar but that aint stop me from grabbing my cat and playing his back leg. I'm pretty sure i got the notes right😂😂😂
@Michael_palmisano.... So this is the one, but there are several on this Unlearning album that are good. He also has some great covers on RU-vid. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lVVSEL0WGbw.html
My God what just happened … This turned into a powerful therapy session for a lot of struggling men… Your a cool honest dude , don’t see that on the interwebs often..
yeah man, he does that a lot! REAL stuff! You know he's been there and that he made it through, it's pretty awesome to see somebody be so real and honest about it. He's one of my many inspirations on that.
You will have a field day with Teddy Swims. This dude has a killer voice. Been listening to him for a couple years and I’ve been waiting for him to break through
I always forget how many reaction channels are just people falling out of their chair every time someone hits a high note, because I only watch people that can teach me something about what I'm watching or, as you put it, inspire me to get out there and do it myself. Everyone always has to apologize for pausing and giving their actual input, which is kinda sad to me. I still can't really play guitar but I've learned a ton about that and music theory in general from following your channel for so long, and I've found countless artists I never would have found otherwise.
I typically hate reaction videos bc most of it is subjective opinions rather than informative. As a hobbyist guitar player delving into music theory after 15 years of playing I can appreciate ur presentation
There is nothing better in life then finding a great partner. I met my wife during some of my hardest days. we been together for 8yrs now married for a lil over 2yrs and she and the kiddos are the best thing to ever happen in my life. They give me my purpose everyday and she always has my back. We may struggle a lil bit but thats fine long as we have each other. Love this
Michael I now rely on you for my guitar lessons, playlist additions and life advice. You sir have the ability to narrate my feelings. Your channel is important
I loved that you kept the part where you were trying to figure that run out & gave the numbers! Super transparent and definitely shows your humility! 🤙
I came to this reaction immediately after watching Charismatic Voice's. Absolutely the perfect pairing. Guitar Teacher reviewed the instrumental. Charismatic Voice reviewed the vocal. This is some of the best information I've received in a while.
The first I heard from him was his Shania Twain cover. His vocals are so cool and they have such a smooth sound as a band. Great seeing him getting more attention.
I'm 72 years old. Been playing guitar with my SO (she's a great singer) for 10 years on stage. Went with Joe Walsh's advise "If you want to do this you gotta be willing to get up there and suck". I'm better than suck now and I really think that I can play anything that i'm willing to practice. We're learning "Lose Control" now and I watched your video. Great lesson. I heard you...the space, learn the melody, support the singer, the non flash of the band "pillow", the 9th... the profundity of love/hate addiction. I'm hummin' your message like an ear worm.Thank you... I love you too Micheal.
Amy Winehouse! I said exactly the same thing to my son yesterday on the drive home, with Teddy's new album on full blast in the car. Not all the songs remind me of her, but this one does. I said I wish she were still here, as I could honestly see her loving Teddy & collaborating with him.
just had to add to my last post.....your reaction and information was fantastic and the match up with Amy Winehouse was right on..his voice/the music/the set
You might just be the sexiest, most inspired musical person I have ever enountered. Please keep it coming. I just loving hearing your musical interpretations!!
Teddy with that amazing vocal instrument of his and that band of superb musicians together gives one the shivers, goosebumps, hair standing on end hit of pure joy. Wise words from you also. My soulmate, my four children, my three grandchildren… I was sitting out in the backyard taking in the serenity and wondering what was the time and the place when I was happiest and felt I was home. We’ve lived all over the country and I have fondest memories of times and places and the amazing people we’ve met but I couldn’t find my ‘home’ in a place or a time. It came to me then …that I found where I belong and I found my home when I found my mate. My home is anywhere with my person. How blessed is that? You sent me on a rave sorry Loved this one and wish my arthritic hands and fingers could still play my guitar ❤❤❤
Hey, thank you, how about natural born gamblin man? There is a video on youtube where he does it live with Merle and t michael, Its tremendous, Thank you for your reply All the best to ya bud👍👍👍
Michael, I would love to see you react to "Roll the Dice" by Dirt Miller. However, since you are a guitar teacher, it would be a disservice to Dirt if I didnt first recommend his "Guitar Symphony." He is really in a category all by himself and I promise you wont be disappointed- his whole catalogue is fire.
You musicians are amazing!! Love this react, love this song!! All the musicians are FEELIN' this song, facial expressions, body movements, I LOVE IT!!! Man, you went deep!!❣💯
Wow! This was fascinating. I have absolutely no musical abilities whatsoever but I was mesmerized by this video. I could definitely see the Amy Winehouse similarities and thank you for pointing that out. Thanks so much for breaking down this song and such a great review!
I was introduced to Teddy's sound two days ago by a friend who wants me to perform this song. Never have I felt so overshadowed by a vocalist, lol. Michael, I love how your remarks and emotions hit at the exact same time for me too. Haha, it's like if I were making the video. lol. Great work, man!
cannot say enough about the 9th (5th of the V chord) ... thank you Michael. b9th is also a money-in-the-bank note - for example E7 chord, play the altered F diminished scale - go after that F note b9th - in your face example is Mavericks, Raul's opening riff (F diminished voicings) on Come Unto Me ..live at Austin City Limits
You my friend are so on the right track for love, life and the pursuit of true happiness! Happy wife..happy life?? Right guys for those of you have figured this out. So great to hear that others (besides my wonderful, late great husband) have crossed over. We were divinily joined for those of you that KNOW. It's amazing to see what can happen, when we get out of own way "let go & let GOD". If we think about the 12 steps, isn't it a BLUE PRINT for life??
You jumped on the addict part of that(rightfully, and it is an addiction) but the part leading up to that is huge. "Yeah, I know, I could do it on my own but I want that real full moon black magic and it takes two." So true. Being alone is hard and it can lead you to some really bad places with partners you have no business being around lol. You should check out his cover of "I can't make you love me." It's also fantastic. Love the video, as always, keep 'em coming!
I haven’t seen you do a reaction in a while. I think I was supposed to win something for best comment and you were supposed to send me an email back when you were going through a little thing but it never came through. But anyway she’s never heard of Teddy swims until right now? Oh I’ve been following him for about three or four years! But that little curiosity itch that you got and decided to look up, Teddy swims over the pizza guy who actually came on my job by the way, well my old job, but you did yourself a big favor. He’s so amazing. I just got to see him at the Ryman in Nashville not too long ago. In case you didn’t know, it’s worth the grand old Opry started and it’s known for acoustics which are amazing and the show was crazy. Watch the live performance from the Ryman theater of this song. It’s only been posted for like a month if that.! And your description was almost perfect. Only thing is, it’s the great thing until it’s no longer a thing and then it’s the worst thing. I’ve heard Adele vibes the first person that I’ve heard say Amy Winehouse. Pretty good description. So you need to do a couple reactions to Ren. I think he’s the best musician playing today. The only person I remember that I felt was talented was Prince.. so check out Hi Ren to start
One of ...it not the....best people on the web at breaking down songs into component parts of music and composition and content. Michael P. is legit. Seriously legit.
Sir, you got me the moment you played the last chord C# WHILE you were listening to the song at the beginning, i raise my hat to you in admiration of your musical ear. 🙋🎩
I would love to see you music theory and practise analysis in more popular songs and bands like metallica for example. Keep up the great work nevertheless
This is the most technical review of lose control I have seen. Most people like me don’t pay attention to the background instruments that much. Lol. Going to see Teddy on August 3rd in Windsor !
Your comment about your lover being the truest drug is so true. For me, my wife is the restraint, yet my inspiration to strive for greater heights. I can't keep control when she's not next to me.
I’m so late. Random non-musically inclined question. If 9 and 2 are the same note, why are they two things lol When the Saints Go Marching in on the piano and annoyed bf trying to teach me the most basic shit on guitar is the entirety of my instrumental knowledge 😂
