“Whenever I’m wrong I tend to pick up the water and not the hatchet.” Wow. Well said. Michael, I don’t play guitar, couldn’t even begin to tell you how. I subscribe to your channel solely for your words and reactions to the heart and soul behind the music. Thank you for what you do.
I play one song on the guitar (flamenco - solearas) and one song on the piano (fiddler on the roof) but music means the world to me. I plan to start playing soon but agree with you Drew. Michael is too sweet. 💥😎💥🎼
Me tooooo!! I comment all the time on that. Watching Michael watch the artists.. is all about joy! I need that daily! I am a music junkie can't ever play a note in anything. But its pure magic every day on here. :)
I've gotten to see them twice and they put on a fantastic show. Ryan Young plays the hell out of that fiddle and he messes around with some cool effects in his live solos
@@tf4002 i was there 36 of my first 40 years. Left for college then went back. Moved to cbus in 17. Finally got my wife to her first tbt show shortly before it all shut down. She said it was the best show of her life. Crazy to think once upon a time it was just bring a case of beer to get in 🤣
I thumbs uped this video before I even skipped the ad before the actual video. Just know this’ll be a good one. This is a fantastic Trampled song (the whole album actually) and I can’t wait to hear your take on their unusual playing styles.
I like that - the person you end up with is the person you can’t live without. Funny for me I have felt that way but it has never been two-way. So I have my dog. 😅😎🎈💥😂🎶🎼🎵😎
Mike im so fuckin happy i found you and this community. Been dabblin in guitar for years and decided to put the nose to the grindstone as Childers would say but ive got to say your emotion and detail in your explanations and perspective and experience make it so much more exciting to play, so thank you! Ill be around for a while.
Dude, I was waiting all day for the new video! Listened to this song like ten mins ago. Thank you for giving to this community and all your doing Michael, mods, and all you folks for sharing!
I do love the speed and lyrics of this song. If I might suggest a very musically interesting indie folk song titled "Catacombs" by the band Honeysuckle. The performance video on "The White Wall Sessions" youtube page comes highly recommended.
Ben howard depth over distance. His performance on kcrw is stunning. End of the affair on jules Holland too. He does some beautiful things with an account guitar. Would like to see your take
Cardinal Black with Chris Buck. Two great new songs. Beautiful playing that serves the song. Great soulful singer Tom Hollister. They deserve more views. Chris was named best guitarist recently by several magazines. They’re great. And their songs are beautifully written as well.
Love your channel. Love your reactions to Tyler Childers for sure. He is one of my favorite voices. There is a guy that I got turned onto recently that I think you would really appreciate. Look into Mitch King " Coming Back". This guy is super talented. He is a one man band using guitar, harmonica, tambourine and kick drum.....and he is barefoot during every performance. This particular song he shreds an acoustic guitar near the end. I would love to see your reaction to this guy. Thanks for your work. The video that looks like he is in a studio is the best version I've seen.
I like your analysis of the song. In general I think it is about unrequited love. More specifically though I think it's about falling in love with a prostitute as indicated by the "five earned fornication" line.
I wish Michael Palmisano would do The Human Abstract or Between the Buried and Me, just so YOU know, there ARE metal fans out there who ALSO appreciate theory..
Motion City Soundtrack did a cover of this song (great band btw) and one thing they did that I thought was brilliant is they slowed it down. TbT is great, but I think their version of this song is too fast. The lyrics don't have a chance to have an impact before the next line hits. I feel like the MCS version is more impactful because they slowed the pace down and really let you marinate on the lyrics. I do love the fiddle in the original.
How about some good old acoustic blues music.....Reverend Peyton and his big damn band......Easy come easy go ......live......the the Reverend playing a 3 string cigar box guitar......it is fire 🔥
I really love this band. What an amazing band name...their fast tunes are blindingly fast. There slow songs are so melancholy, so gut-wrenching, that it feels like your whole being is getting Trampled by Turtles. My favorite one is "The Calm and the Crying Wind" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dc56fbR2n9s.html I will also record a video of me playing/singing it and send it to you, Michael.
Love the videos!! If you want to to hear and see some sick funk work please, please, please react to Louis Cole Live 2019 and check out Bank account (wich servers as a sick intro to The song "Doing The things" this performance blew my mind! It starts at 15:16 in The video titled "Louis Cole Live 2019"
Hey Michael, for some reason Gmail is telling me that your support email doesn't exist or can't receive emails. I've tried emailing twice now. Not sure what's going on
Please please please listen to and do a video of “The Weight of Dreams” by Greta Van Fleet you will not regret it there’s like a 4 minute guitar solo at the end
Do you ever get tired of being that good looking? Also is your wife like the most beautiful woman in the world or just in the top 10? I've never seen her and think it would be creepy to just look her up but based on you I'm guessing she's 💯
