I have used the DeWalt 8V Max Gyroscopic Screwdriver in my shop now for almost 2 years and I really think it is a great tool. Aside from the cool gyroscopic feature of the driver, it is very compact, powerful and practical - the perfect drill/driver for my guitar workbench. It's great for driving screws, drilling holes and changing strings. Try one out and see! Enjoy the video...

Very nice presentation, thank you. No doubt this tool is a must have for as often as you need it in your trade. But for folks like me who change their strings once or twice a year, a plastic hand-crank string winder will do. Heck, I'm old enough to remember when even having that tool was a novelty. I've restrung many a guitar entirely by hand in my youth, so I know just what a luxury this gyroscopic screwdriver is. 😁 I can see why you love it.

It is not necessary but very helpful- I use it for all kinds of other jobs around the house as well.

Hey. question not really related to the video but do you know if a american pickguard would fit on a made in china 70s vibe squire p bass? ive seen that korean pickguards tend to be a bit bigger than normal. if you know anything it would be very appreciated.

Cant know for sure until you test fit it...too many production variations over the years. If you can get detailed dimensions of the pickguard that would help you out

Hitachi(Hikoki)/Metabo do a good cheaper one that's durable and proven - but obviously not as fully featured as the Dewalt. Hikoki DB3DL2 3.6v
