16:48 I don't think you're looking too much into it at all - it's obvious Daisuke and the team went above and beyond to pack these songs with lore and history for each of the characters while still making them amazing songs. One of my favorite pieces of trivia is that, apparently, during the final line of Zato's theme "I'm a shadow always with you" the singer who did Millia's theme is doing the high part, reflecting their shared history. It wouldn't surprise me at all to learn Daisuke tried to add in something to link Axl and I-No

I'm impressed how great musicians talk with each other. Daisuke not only manages to put references to other bands, but still inserts the lore to previous games, chars relationships and meaning. Strive is really an album with a gamem

Does anyone else get Tool and or Mastodon vibes from the riff at the beginning? One part of this song REALLY reminds me of parts from The Czar from Crack in the Skye.

I say it's worth noting that a large chunk of Requiem is so reminiscent of Shin Hae Chul's metal compositions. Maybe not in XX's Korean OST, but in his original albums. Some tracks have those variable funky metal chords and similar progressions, especially the chorus.

From the start I've had a good ear. I was able to pick up songs after a couple listens when I was learning guitar. It just got better cause all I've ever done for practice was play along to bands I liked.

This guy is great but the only thing i can go without is his 1 minute pauses between parts of the song where he just say "oh this part is really cool its kinda like *Plays guitar for no reason* right?" when its a song thats like 3 minutes long and he made the video 24 minutes long.
