I love his response to the question of which was most expensive. Monetary value means nothing based on how he describes these stones. They are all equally precious to him for different reasons.
@Silicon Nomad there was no reason for some of your last words u said to him. All he said is according to him, Ruby might be expensive, if something is actually expensive in your region u can't tell if they are easily available to others or not.
Gul Sher Khan is my favourite. He seems like such a nice person, taking time to tell us about these things. I loved this video. My grandparents were silversmiths so I have always loved hearing about gemstones and such. I would love to give him one of our tribe's turquoise rings or maybe a lapis lazuli ring as a gift. We also used silver coins in our jewelry, to make rings or use them as buttons on our moccasins and our clothes.

@@business.jiroop Sufism is not a sect but a sort of mysticism. And even though it is now largely associated with Islam, the idea originated around 160 BCE. As it is written and mentioned by many Sufi scholars in their sermons (including Mawlana Rumi). It was Moses who discovered Sufism. As he was told by God that in a far off valley there lives a man who has more knowledge than You, a Prophet of God. It is then Moses decided to meet the man himself and that man is known to be the first Sufi. Even though it is an Arabic word and was only first used in around 680 - 710 AD. The first Muslim person to be called a Sufi was Imam Abu-Hanfia. Despite the usage of this word, It is common belief that Sufism has no religion. The first Sufi was a Jew and there have been many throughout the history with many different religions. A Sufi poet that I really like is Saint Kabir Das. You should read some of his work. And try to find the most genuine translations i.e. done by people that know brij and hindi and languages like that. You can only learn about Sufism if you read from the original work of Sufis themselves. There are a lot of different translations and most of them are based on simple misunderstandings that later on evolve to become believes that are too rigid to be changed. Anyways just wanted to say that Sufism has no religion. But not everyone can be a Sufi. I certainly couldn't. Maybe you can

OMG. I am the same. I always love looking at your rings and identifying the stones used. In my younger days, I made cabochens (the rounded, polished stones) you see in your rings, and still have a collection of rough rocks as well!

Your collection is beautiful. I love and have alot of gemstones. Multi colored sapphires, jade, diamonds, ruby, cats eyes, opals, sleeping beauty turquoise, Russia emeralds, kunzite, etc.. I believe in the healing power of stones. God put them here for a reason. Love your videos😊

Love collecting stones as well. I live in Idaho and one year took my kids to a place in Washington state where they have a garnet mine. We cant go to the main mine but we go to where they allow the public. We dig up buckets of dirt then sift then wash to reveal garnets. My kids loved it and we were allowed to keep what we found. This summer.. hopefully if this covid has settled down i will take them to the crystal mine we have near home.
i wanted to find out more about Baloch so i had a look via Google Earth.i was really impressed as i was with other towns.prosperous,busy,wonderful buildings and because there is no street view i was able to look at photos.shops filled with beautiful clothing for men and women.artwork,metal work,on and on.the countryside is a maze of farms and villages some of which have the same gas stations i have down my street.i can see why Mr Khan has so many stones!..i assume the Baloch with his name is the same one?
I am right with this honorable man. I am not a King or a Sufi, but I collect the stones as well and believe strongly in their health benefits. I understand also his meaning when he says they are like his children. I feel the same. All of the gems are beautiful and wonderful in their own way.
I am too allergic to chemicals and preservatives so medicine pills make me sicker. Same with food with preservatives. I use gemstones, healthy food, and oils. Thank you for sharing your gemstones.
I collect stones and crystals also. Certain stones are used in Reiki treatments as well. A friend takes silver wire, and wraps it around the stones and makes beautiful pendants with it. Moldavite and herkimer paired together is my favorite.
I had thought a couple weeks ago about sending him a stone polisher (a rock tumbler kit) but it looks like he doesn't need one. I had one as a kid and loved it. I loved hearing about the physical qualities each one offers. This was another great episode, thank you for sharing it.
Gul Sher- I have a friend who collects crystals and stones. She says she can sense the energy of them, and they give her peace. She had a first date with a man who put a few crystals and stones on the dinner table which most Americans would say is odd. Now they are very much in love and have crystals and stones all over their home.

A kindred spirit! I too collect gemstones. To pick a favorite is too hard. All are loved equally otherwise they wouldn’t have been added to my collection. I love wearing each ring, bracelet or necklace. It gives me joy to see the fascination on people’s faces when they see a gemstone they’ve never heard of let alone seen.

This is so cool watch, respect to his culture, I have Native American roots and it is so important to keep your culture alive. The focus on family and tradition is awesome. It gives the children an identity and roots- which equals self respect and they will not be insecure. Hard to explain and I apologize if I am ranting, but honestly traditions and language specific to a locality or tribe is important.

Wow, what a great ring collection. I love collecting gemstones and I even cut them for jewellery purposes as a hobby, but I don't own a lot of rings with stones in them, that will change for sure now...
