I put an anchor trolley on my kayak and got a 3lb foldable anchor. Definitely helps, I fish a small shallow lake that is a struggle to stay in a spot for a period of time. The anchor definitely helps out and with the trolley it makes positioning great, plus when I don't need it the anchor and rope fits into a small bag to tuck under the seat. Works great in small water on windy days.
Get yourself one of those 3 pound foldable anchors for you kayak and about 25 feet of line. you might still spin around a bit but i'll hold you. That crappie was a freak!
You're the second person that told me about the little foldable anchor for a kayak. I'll have to definitely look into that, because it would really help me. That was a freak crappie. I wish I had an official measurement of it.
