I just ordered a pack of your spinner blades. I have a bunch of half gulps in containers im going to pair them with. One question with size regulations. Do the size limits ever go down? Here in NY fluke have to be 19 inches when last year it was 18. Fishing from the shore its very hard to find fluke over 17 inches. 19 is a miracle. I enjoy your content.
The Steez AGS 76MLM - the best rod you can buy for this kind of fluking (Daiwa makes the same rod in other lines, check the video description for a list)
Awesome video Roger! I hope you can restock your C&F Spinner blades soon. I want to order some. I also just received my new issue of "On The Water" magazine. it was nice to see you get featured there with your Jerkbait technique. Congrats! I can see a Cooking and Fishing book in the future!
Great job roger. I dont see you getting snaged. Lucky roger. Ordered 2 packs of blades. Going to try them on the jetties and piers here in galveston, tx. Keep the lessons coming.
Thank you!!! The lighter jigheads are better for snaggy bottom, but if you're fishing rocks it's important to not let the jighead roll into a crack - then it's GG lol - keep that line tight and just tick bottom here and there
People do a version of it with a short dropper loop, but in my experience the light single jig catches much better average size over time. It's really not even close if you're fishing from shore/shallow boat/kayak.
