I met a guy back in my early 20's. My gf at the time, and I where having dinner with him and his wife. The husband and I started talking about firearms and eventually he took me aside to see his collection (it was sweet by the way).. it wasn't until I had my own family that I realized, you get your 1st firearm to protect your family,... the 2nd 3rd 4th 5th etc, are because We are Free. 🇺🇲
Chris garris how old where you when you got your first gun? I got my dads BB gun from childhood that my grandpa saved for my 6th birthday, a daisy red ryder for my 8th birthday after my dad's old gun finally broke down and a .22 for my 10th birthday... If you didn't have a gun until you had a family that's kind of a late start to gun ownership.
Y'all should do a video on the FGC-9. When that was perfected, the 3d printed gun community began to utter the words "gun control is dead, and we killed it". It's amazing how fast that tech advanced in so little time. RIP JStark.
Don’t bet on it. Don’t trust those clowns for 1 second. As soon as you ask, the next bill comes across. They got more idiocy to perform spin control on, they will come back with their nonsense soon. In the meantime we need to abolish it these already infringing laws on the books.
More and more younger liberals are buying guns. Soon enough, it will be politically infeasible to pass gun control. gun control for all intents and purposes, is dead.
@@peternorton5648 ...and somehow I still have the same firearm carried the same way...I carry concealed without a permit no matter where I am...do not comply...simple...be safe, remain vigilant, and carry a weapon...peace ☮
In 2020 I became a gun owner and I am a black American male I love 2A I am pro gun and the 2A community has welcomed me with open arms and I have became a voice for the 2A
i love it when conservative black people stand up to white liberals. because of their racial guilt they will never try to tell you that you cant or shouldnt be armed
Embrace your rights, and become a voice for the second amendment. We can use voices from every ethnicity, religion, or culture...as AMERICANS, these rights bind us together, not separate us. Practice with your firearm, make friends at your local range, perhaps even join a local team or organization that is pro 2A.
Congrats and I am glad to have you aboard as a newish gun owning American and that you are a Pro-2A and, I presume, pro-Constitutionalist male?! I am always glad to have new gun owning people as new voices of the 2A, having been fighting for our Rights for decades.... New 2A brothers and sisters are always necessary and should always be welcomed!
Me too bro! Except the summer of love 2019 is when I joined. I love this community and I've never felt slighted by anyone at a store or range when I'm asking my rookie questions. Being Black we have to spread the word to our brethren about the importance of the 2A and being responsible of ourselves and our own. BTW, FJB.
When I was younger, I remember buying firearms by mail where you sent in your check along with signed affidavit that you were over 21 YOA and were not prohibited by law from owning a firearm. Then the GCA of 1968. The next thing I remember the GCA of 1986, then the 1989 import ban of certain firearms. Then the AWB of 1994. Very sad times. In the 60s if you supported 2A, you were labeled a fanatic. Bill Ruger testified in front of government committees stating no civilian needed a magazine that held more than ten rounds for a semiautomatic rifle. Great to see so many gun owners in the new millennium. All owners should unite and stand together.
most people have already memory holed it unfortunately. theyll just remember the "great success" of Joe getting us out of the middle east like they were told over and over by msm
I don't think the Taliban had any effect on gun control in our country. Most Americans are still in favor of bg checks and laws prohibiting violent criminals from carrying guns.
4:16 - Gun owners aren't just white men living in the woods that belong to the NRA. I, for one, happen to be a Southeast Asian man living in the woods and is a member of GOA.
About a year ago I was in my local gun store, and an older black woman (maybe a grandma) came in with a Ruger 10/22. It seemed odd so I became nosy. She laid the rifle on the counter and a worker came over asking if she needed help with anything. She told him, "please teach me what I need to know to correct operate this gun". How awesome was this? the salesman did not blink an eye and began to help her. First, she did the absolute right thing by asking someone to show her how to safely handle a firearm. Second, I thought about how cool it is for an old lady to be a new gun owner. :)
Another thing that a lot of politicians and people like them do not understand is my Pawpaw's firearm is a family heirloom to me just like their Grandma's wedding ring would be a family heirloom to them it's the same thing to me
So how TF does that help people who want the latest and greatest for concealed carry and self defense? They can leave you clutching your precious "heirloom" while increasing restrictions on ammo purchases, firearms parts, and all "military assault style weapons of war" like glock 19 or AR-15. Your "muh heirloom" non-argument is just as impotent and retarded as the "muh sports guns" and "muh hunting", guns are made to kill, and if I want to protect myself with lethal force nobody should have any right to dictate to me if I can or cannot do that. Gun laws primarily limit people who agree to abide by the law in the first place, gun laws primarily protect criminals, be those criminals in the streets or in the government. Simple as.
The country will always be split on gun control, I think there’s more people leaning towards anti gun control, also thanks to the surge of new gun owners but let’s never keep our guard down and keep on fighting.
@@trashpanda2875 that's true throughout most States and towns however super cities like New York and basically all of California are absolutely overran by anti-gun morons and boot lickers which isn't good considering those States hold the biggest population in the United States. So yes it's true that people that you meet and interact with are probably pro 2nd amendment but there's still a serious threat against our God given rights just due to these overpopulated areas.
I thought gun control was gone after the summer of 2020. People realized they are on their own and can’t rely on the police. That didn’t stop politicians from introducing more gun control legislation. If that’s not out of touch, I don’t know what is.
I am a new gun owner ish I have had guns my whole life but didn't take it serious till about 2yrs ago or so. Politics needs to stay out of firearms communities and laws. leave the 2nd Amendment be. We are supposed to be able to have access of any firearm/weapons the military has. In my area I don't know of any firearms community gatherings competitions meetings nothing here in southeastern Kentucky and it is sad because no unity around here
come over to cental ky not a ton of stuff going on but everybody carries gun it seems the best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun were alot of good guys with guns
Sadly I don't believe it will ever go away at the federal level. Even as gun ownership surges, and public attitude shifts to a more pro-2a paradigm, the endgame for our elected reps at the Federal level is and always will be universal disarmament. The prerogative of our federal govt is the consolidation of control over American life, and expanding that control wherever possible. I agree with everything you guys said here, but it seems that this political attitude is only shared at the State level in some states. We'll likely end up in a situation where certain states (like MO and TN) choose not to enforce federal gun laws, while other states (like CA, NY, NJ etc...) choose to enforce fed gun laws. I hope I'm wrong and the ban state citizens fight back to overturn their unconstitutional restrictions.
It is so awesome to have Eric and Chad doing gun gripes still. I look forward to your guys videos very time I get a notification! Been subscribed for years! Love what you guys are doing, keep it up!!
People have seen what the laws actually are from buying guns. I’m in CA…I was in a Bass Pro shop and a lady couldn’t comprehend why she couldn’t buy her firearm due to paper work. She thought she would leave that day with the firearm. Had no idea about what you actually need to buy a firearm in California.
Im 40 and I just hope the generations below me have the same aptitude for 2nd amendment rights and all of our constitutional rights. I know my two sons do, they will grow up knowing gun safety and how to effectively protect themselves and others with a firearm.
I yearn for a future in America where gunsmithing is as commonplace as working on cars. A future where a father can recreationally show his son how to assemble an old Sten submachine gun is a future I want to live in. May God bless America.
The term melting pot was first used in the context of American immigration in a 1908 play called The Melting Pot by Israel Zangwill, a British citizen of Jewish descent.
Gun laws primarily limit people who agree to abide by the law in the first place, gun laws primarily protect criminals, be those criminals in the streets or in the government. Simple as.
This could turn in a hurry; government is currently arguing right now for permission to physically force Americans into the doctor's office for the shot, and it's easy to see firearms being complained against if they do get their permission from the SC because people will be defending themselves.
I just want to have the ability to buy suppressor at my local Walmart without paperwork... why should the government have the right to take to away my ability to protect my hearing.
I think IV8888 needs to make a gun gripe with Maj Touré the get more black and Hispanics to watch this show. I’m a Latino and if I mention this channel to any of my gun buddies they’ll look at me like I’m crazy. By getting Maj on here and to take about how gun control is rac1st can bring in a new audience and open many minds
They learned to leave the gun itself alone. Look at what's going on, attack accessories and make ammo to expensive. Doesn't matter what you have if you can't do anything with it.
The machine gun ban was way overreaching. What I honestly think they should have done with machine guns is: Make owning any machine gun require you to have a machine gun license that requires you to qualify for a marksmanship and written judgment/tactics test (I don't want some yahoo who can't hit the broadside of a barn and will accidentally kill half the neighborhood with a machine gun carrying one on their hip) or just not allow you to discharge a machine gun outside of a safe shooting range (and make it an automatic life sentence if you do,) but allow you to own one if you can own a gun.
Gun ownership shouldn't be a Left wing vs Right wing thing I'm Liberal but I'm a gun owner while Ronald Reagan the old hero of the Right was very Anti-gun
Good Lord, I hope you guys are correct. I'm going to reference George Carlin, when he commented about politics and the media always pushing to divide people. They're locking us into a certain mindset, and the whole time, they're cashing in on us.
A+ for the new camera angles, B- for execution of the new camera angles... hahaha! Just givin' yall some shit Gun Gripe videos are some of my favorite videos on your channel!
You too are my favorite celebrities keep up the good fight !!!! The right to bear arms is a God given right, a man does not need a teacher to know this. There are major consequences when people forget they’re Creator.
Your right I’ve taken 3 new firearm owners out to a range just out side of town and me and my son had a heck of a good time shooting with some new owners felt good .
Who cares about gun control? Well having both hands on the firearm is well needed but seriously everyone should know how to control a gun, unless ofcourse were talking about tyranny…
As an Aussie watch for the "fit and proper person" legislation that states can find easy to enact. 10yr bans, not being allowed to be around firearms even if not using, if they struggle for big ticket items they trickle feed them. I can still easily get what I want over here its not as bad as social media thinks.
New liberal gun owners will still vote for the same liberal politicians they always have, just like they often do after moving from blue to red states. There might be a small number of converts, but I'm sure most will see other issues as more important than 2A.
I hear that a lot but every person I know that has moved from a blue state to a red one often are the most vocal about how bad it was over their and fight the hardest to keep that crap away from we’re they moved to….all but one person I know are that way and the ones I know from California are the most vocal about our rights from what I’ve personally experienced.
I really like you guys. I would like to see Chad start a how to shoot like him channel. I've watched him shoot it just seems like he is a natural. I think it's a superpower. Anyway both you guys keep it up.
Doncha be forgetting about those self-given-RAISE in their salaries. They work for us. We oughta certify Any Friggin raises. Corruption made Official legally. DC SUKKAGE Continues unabated.
That’s the double edged sword of lobbying. God forbid we have anyone standing up for 2A rights because they believe it’s right, and not because they believe in the $$$ that comes with it.
When you live in a state like Connecticut gun control is definitely an issue. The state limits what you can have especially magazine capacity. It's sad because Connecticut is the constitution state. Seem more like the infringement state to me.
In the 70’s and 80’s there was trust from the population for government. It was strained since Vietnam but that was controlled enough via a closed news system that overall the sentiment was they won’t hurt us. I was a young man in that era but yeah automatic weapons were not a big issue for those people.
Just from the title...We can only dream of Gun control being "dead" unfortunately, as long as there are people that hate guns, there will always be a push for gun control. 🤷♂️. Now to watch the rest of your video. 🤜💥🤛
This encourages me that we, as gun owners have done a better job, since the last assault weapons ban, to educate and debate without rancor, the 2nd amendment and what it means to every American. I use a very simple argument, but I lead them to the question hypothetically, then hit them with "So let's say that no one but the government and the Police had guns... does that make you feel warm and fuzzy?" Guaranteed to make every liberal do a stutter step.
Any recommendations for cleaning the paddle stock on the Ruger m77 stainless? I have the version .270 and it's a great gun, however, the stock has some minor wear that I can't seem to get out.
