@@julianmorales2834 dude. He said 30 yards clear as day. That looks like 10 yards. His stance is shit, his grip is low, and he's jerking the trigger like it's his dick. Also, he's shooting a Glock. So the trigger itself is probably shit.
If yall can take a break, for a minute, consider a weird idea - this guy might not actually have the same "degradation under stress" as a skilled shooter. Realistically, he already is NOT achieving a good sight picture, using a good controlled trigger press, or finding the reset. So all of our basics that go to shit, when the range is 2 way, well..... he never had em in the first place. Not a good thing but could mean there is no change in is "proficiency" st all
Didn't jam but damn, did you see that wrist drop and miss 1st trigger pull? Holy smokes. The parents of his attackers will thank him for not taking any head or body shots!
Was he a terrible shot yes no question about it. Terrible recoil anticipation terrible grip terrible trigger pull. But in reality if two hit in the waist line and the rest were going low that means your legs are most likely fucked but in a gun fight down does not always mean your out.
Yeah I always hated that in action movies, 10+ baddies, then hero goes for the door and magically not ONE bullet hits em, like wow dude ur sooo awesome 😎
Dude, I wish I could spend just like 3 hours with this guy. He's wrong, he is not shooting too fast, I've outran semi auto pistols before (that's where you have to wait for the slide to close so you can shoot again). He is, however, jerking the F out of the trigger. I'm actually glad to see others learning the craft, guns are vilified now and we need positive exposure. If I had 2 hours with this guy, he'd make leaps and bounds.......... he would not get to re use as many targets tho 😁
@@Ten_Mil_Will problem is he's probably the type of guy who can't take constructive criticism and would see any attempt to teach him as an insult to his manliness. A lot of guys who are self-taught are just plain unwilling to admit they've been training incorrectly
@@Kross8761 You could quite possibly be correct. Almost ALL men are born thinking they know how to do two things, even if they have NEVER done either: (1) fight (2) shoot. However, he could quite possibly be the exact opposite, I have ran across those guys too. When I was 15, my father took me to the range (almost) daily. I would run a Series 70 Colt Gold Cup 45 acp like it was a full auto, I'd bring my target back in and have a fist size group punched in it. Many guys would get pissed, start THROWING their custom built 1911's into their range bags and stomping out BUT..... some guys would actually walk over and ask me to shoot their gun. They'd say, "hey I don't wanna bother you but I need to know if it is just me or if there is a problem with my gun, can you shoot it for me?" After I showed em their gun could do the same thing, they'd ask me, "what can I do differently? What should I be working on right now?". These were grown men, I was a skinny skater kid BUT they knew if they kept ego out of it and listened to me, they could improve. There are guys out there that truly want to learn and, if you show them you can do what they want to be able to do, they will pay attention. The dude in the vid didn't seem like a douche or anything, I have no reason to think he wouldn't like learning but, who knows.
LOL. I said that about a friend when a few of us were at the range. I was just kind of making a little joke. His kids thought it was the funniest comment ever.
Speed is relative. What is slow for good ol Jerry is lightning to us mere mortals. However that dude just had garbage fundamentals he was anticipating the recoil and starring at the target, his sight alignment was non existent. Just wow.
The only thing that rivals his inability is the old movie shooters "throwing" the bullets and the old Superman TV series where Supe would poke out his chest to let the bullets bounce off him but duck when the bad guy threw the empty gun. Also Supe would bend the barrel while the bad guy was holding the revolver. Bad guy would have to be as strong as Supe or the weapon would be easily wrenched from his hand undamaged. This video tops all that because this is true lousiness.
He was shooting rapid fire down range. Unless he was aiming his gun at someone all I see is someone not hitting the target. He never pointed his gun in any other direction.
Yeah, he was moving his head to the weapon and not the weapon to his head. That was the 1st sign for me that he is a newbie. Everybody starts somewhere I guess.
So the recorded mag slam, slide rack, and blue steel facial expressions were all part of learning? Dont know how you learn by scripting something such as this. Lets focus on keeping our eyes on the camera to make sure we are being recorded instead of watching your muzzle sweeping up to the ceiling....oh and also nice trigger discipline
They're talking about a youtuber called Paul Harrel. Im not sure why they dont just tell you his name, I think because theyre immature or trying to be edgy maybe?
@@luddacriss With how cops have been drawling down my dad's conceal carry told him not to send in yet as he passed the course with flying colors but he is an expert marksman with a handgun.
There is no way that's 30 yards most ranges I've been to indoors are 25 yards max thats no more than 7-10 yards. On the bright side if this dude is shooting at you you're the safest person in the room.
Yep, that’s what happens when you’re told “shoot at the sky” muzzle climb in video games is “realistic”. Ironically, games that get labeled “casual/arcade” like COD4 are much closer to simulating recoil.
@@nunyabusiness896 I don't know if you've ever played day z, but it's probably the closest you can get to dieing. Haha! Plus it takes forever to stock up supplies, and when you die, you start with a rag, a glowstick, and a piece of fruit. Recoil is intense, and fairly accurate.
1. Has the gun pointed at his feet before he even starts 2. Anticipates recoil before shooting pulling the gun down making him miss his shots 3. That is NOT 30 yards Who taught this guy
I feel this. Purchased my first firearm which was a Glock 33 .357 Lemme tell ya that thing had a lot of power I had to get used to lol, first couple of rounds were way off target but still on the paper at maybe 15 yards. But got used to the incoming power cause I already knew how much it kicked and started hitting my target, some guy there let me shoot his Ruger 57 and that thing was so easy to handle from my Glock lol. I hit center mass with the magazine he let me burn, I felt good leaving the range for the first time shooting in years.
Hand guns are deceitful. They seem like they work, but unless the target is right in front of you or you put 15-20 range hours in a month, you ain't hitting shit with a pistol..the target basically has to be immobilized or unaware of you pointing a gun at them to get a good shot in. Shotguns>anything else
@@alexgibbs356 wow u must really suck at shooting lol...yeah anub nose and compacts can be deceitful, but u dont need that much range time to be accurate lol...u non gun knowing idiots make me laugh
Most guns are capable of doing more than their owners know how. I have a $1,400 Kimber and I know a guy that out shoots me with a $450 M&P Shield. But I'm getting better.
Reminded me of the first time I shot a pistol. I think I was 7 or 8 years old. The good old day's when a family could go out into the woods and scare the hell out of some cans.
i don’t think ive ever shot that badly. not even when i first started shooting at 7 or 8 years old. this dude needs to slow down until he’s more familiar with the process.
@@tomaszwota1465 Rapid fire is absolutely pointless if you don’t hit your target. Instead of attempting to shoot fast with no skill, folks like him should start slower and build their skill up to the point where they can rapid fire accurately.
@@enzowarren9832 You see a guy doing a rapid fire, and laughing that he didn't hit anything. Then you start this by the book training speech while assuming they're idiots. You've only seen a couple of seconds of footage. Your big assumption being that they didn't already know this, or couldn't possibly get it themselves a second after trying it. Sometimes you do stuff for the heck of it. Nothing wrong with that if it's safe for you and others.
@@10thhokage37 send us a video of you putting 15 in the 10 ring at 30’ rapid fire with a 45 keyboard warrior True this guy can not shoot but half the propitious their would do this bad firing rapid fire from a 45 pistol
What? You mean the shooting range where people are trying to practice??? 99% of gun owners are not criminals. Anyone who's just out there is the 1% and you better be ready and prepared.
Jason H god I watched that movie once because someone I know said it was there favorite I had to sit through the whole thing cringing and thinking how is this cool it’s so stupid
Joe smith it’s not that it’s unrealistic but I never liked any of it and yes realism matters to an extent I mean if it’s the movie I’m thinking of the car drove on a bus sideways I mean what and curving bullets has nothing to do with how they explain it I don’t just watch documentaries lmao but realism matters to me some of my fav movies are black hawk down which some parts were iffy in realism but most were spot on and I like comideas like parks and rec the office etc.
What was the point in going there though? I dont understand why we as people just cant enjoy a random guy not hitting his target. NFAC has nothing to do with this at all.
@@antoniamilton8413 because NFAC is a hilarious meme right now. I mean first off, the Not F*cking Around Coalition is just hilarious. Their lack of training education and just plain common sense it cringe, their leader made it all worse by trying to justify the ND which highlighted all of the points above. Combine that with the fact that they're a black nationalist militia it just fucking funny. I guess you could say they're just fucking around lol.
Judging by that first trigger pull i knew this guy couldnt shoot a gun....howd i know there be no shots on target....and thats not even close to 30 yards lmao not even 30 feet i bet
"I don't want you to shoot FAST, when your heart rate is 220 and you got shit in your shorts you'll be shooting fast anyway; I want you to shoot GOOD!" -Clint Smith
I wouldn't step foot into the range with him in there... his lack of respect for the weapon and lack of knowledge will inevitably end up hurting or killing someone
How did he disrespect the weapon? He seemed to demonstrate gun safety. Probably just his first time shooting and needs more training. We all start somewhere this guy just happened to start with a camera rolling
