I love this guy. He tells you like it is. How the fucking hell did water get in there. People will attempt to use the bloody scooter as a submarine. Or did the owner have a bath with the scooter. Ahhh shit, the batteries have been bonked by the owner. The battery owner should give the battery technician £50 for wasting his time. 🤣😂🤣😂
my ebike waterproof inframe battery failed to keep my battery dry, i got caught in a downpour that came from nowhere, never noticed the problem till like a week later when i went to use my bike again oO anyway under some investigation i found water in my battery, it had damaged the BMS and some cells had a little rust on them like this battery, i cleaned it out and dried it, then i got a new BMS, not the same type but still one for 13s 48v but a waterproof BMS this time, i soldered the BMS wires in place, had to do this as the new BMS plug was not the same, then put it on charge for 3 days, at first it only charged to 52v before the BMS cut off the Charger, i suspect some water damaged cells were lower, anyway after the 3 days the cells seem to have somewhat recovered/balanced the voltage is now 53.1 - in the meantime i also got a new battery and i tested its voltage and that shows 53.5v i also tested the battery in the bike and its now working sweet, so i guess what im saying is just because a battery gets water damaged does not mean its a total right off
Hello mate, i have a mantis 10 with the eye3 display. The charging light goes red and then green like i have a full charge. But when i turn it on the display flashes as it goes from max voltage to near 0 and then all turns off. It takes 2 seconds to happen and then i cant turn it on again for another 10 minutes as nothing happens when pushing power button, and it does the same thing. From 67.5 volts near nothing eveerytime, any ideas on what the issue could be would be greatly appreciated mate.??

That's a lot of cells.. and a lot of rust! Is the water only on the nickel plates or also inside the cell themselves, corroding them ? I guess each cell has its own shrink wrap but I wonder if only the tabs can get water damage or more.
Maybe condensing moisture during colder autumn nights there in Solna . Strong battery , much heat to the cells and that’s it . Water everywhere in this monster battery only because temperature difference. Can be other reason as well but that’s my theory .
The problem was actually a very smal tear in the bottom corner of heat shrink tubing. If it hade more eva foam under the whole pack it would have been fine,.

This is exactly how my battery pack looked inside and out on my Yume D4+ electric scooter. There was lots of rust on the inside of the battery pack. However, most of the rust occurred in the front of the batter pack, away from any ports which was odd. The interior of the scooter looked fine except for rusting towards the front of the scooter.

What does it mean, when my charger goes to red for a few seconds and goes to green without it being plugged to the scooter? Does that mean I have a bad charger? I got a yume s10 scooter

Thanx for the video....In my dual motor scooter I upgraded my 52V battery from 20 Ah to 26ah but my bms overheats and has to be replaced constantly.....the BMS is rated at 52V 30A.....do you have a suggestion....Thanx.
There is a sticker that changes colour if exposed to water was it red? I couldn't see on vid. Mine is at bottom by wires... i believe mine gone bad cos low voltage do you think i can revive it with another battery got 70v 33.3 amh rated another ebike battery laying around ( i do accurately, long story) gunai will send me new but I have an itch to open it but would like to do it safely.. what do you think boss doctor kind man..😃
